Each light receiving element faces one of the first collimating portions. Each optical fiber faces one of the second collimating portions. Each light intensity detector faces one of the third collimating portions for detecting light intensity of a corresponding light emitting element.

The main portion includes a first surface having at least one first converging lens formed thereon, a second surface having at least one second converging lenses formed thereon, and a reflecting surface. The second surface is substantially perpendicular to the first surface. An angle between the reflecting surface and the first surface is about 45 degrees. An optical axis of the first converging lens is substantially perpendicular to the first surface, and an optical axis of the second converging lens is substantially perpendicular to the second surface. Each reference portion includes a reference member. The reference member includes a reference point. A connecting line of the reference points of the reference portions is substantially parallel to the first surface and the second surface, and the connecting line is in a surface substantially coplanar with the reflecting surface.

    摘要: An optical connector includes a substrate, a photoelectric element and a positioning element on the substrate, a lens element, and an optical fiber. The positioning element defines a through hole, in which the photoelectric element is received to allow visual inspection for determining if the photoelectric element is positioned to a designated position in relation to the positioning element, and includes a positioning structure. The lens element includes an incident surface, an emitting surface, a reflecting surface, a locating structure and a first lens formed in the incident surface, and a second lens formed on the emitting surface and optically aligned with the first lens via the reflecting surface. The lens element is precisely positioned on the positioning element by matching the locating structure with the positioning structure, to align the first lens with the photo electric element. The optical fiber is aligned with the second lens.

    摘要: A lens for an LED backlight module includes a main lens body and a diffusion structure consisting of a plurality of micro lenses. The main lens body includes a light incident face for receiving light from an LED light source and a light exit face opposite to the light incident face thereof. Light leaves the lens from the light exit face. The micro lenses of the diffusion structure are formed on the light exit face of the main lens body. Each micro lens is annular and has a generally triangular cross section. Each micro lens includes a first light scattering surface and a second light scattering surface intersecting with the first light scattering surface. The micro lenses are arranged in a series of concentric circles with regard to a center of the lens. A backlight module source incorporating the lens and the LED light source is also provided.
