Abstract: A rotary atomization type painting apparatus has a bell cup attached to a rotary drive shaft. A side surface of the bell cup is formed to be parallel to the rotary drive shaft. An inner surface of the side surface portion is provided with a first groove portion, a second groove portion, and a third groove portion that are recessed toward a direction of an outer surface of the side surface portion. The first groove portion, the second groove portion, and the third groove portion are provided with a first insertion hole, a second insertion hole, and a third insertion hole. The first insertion hole, the second insertion hole, and the third insertion hole pass through the inner surface and the outer surface, and eject a paint to the outside of the bell cup.

Abstract: A paint nozzle used in a paint device has a paint channel that supplies paint, an air channel that supplies air, and a nozzle plate that is connected to the paint channel and the air channel. This nozzle plate is provided with a merging section that causes the paint and the air to merge and mix, and a discharge port that discharges, as paint particles, the paint and the air in a mixed state from the merging section. In addition, the interior of the nozzle plate has a tapered portion that connects the merging section and the discharge port and that tapers toward the discharge port on the distal end side.

Abstract: An electric-wire protection device includes a voltage adjustment unit that adjusts the voltage to a load, and a controller that includes a temperature calculation unit that calculates temperature information on an electric wire from a value of current, and makes the voltage adjustment unit into a shut-off state based on the temperature information. The temperature information is calculated from an amount of temperature changes based on the current value and a predetermined initial value. The controller shifts into a sleep state when a sleep condition is satisfied that includes a condition that the temperature information is lower than the initial value. The initial value when the controller returns from the sleep state is based on a convergence value of temperature in conducting energization on the electric wire at a maximum value of steady-state current.
