Abstract: A video management system (VMS) may search for one or more objects and/or events in one or more video streams, and may receive time-stamped metadata that may identify one or more objects and/or events occurring in the corresponding video stream as well as an identifier that uniquely identifies the corresponding video stream. A user may enter a query into a video query engine, wherein the video query engine includes one or more cognitive models. The VMS may apply the search query to the time-stamped metadata via the video query engine to search for one or more objects and/or events in the one or more video streams that match the search query, and returning a search result to the user.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for a contextual transformation of an analytical model for an industrial internet of things (IIoT) edge node. For instance, the method may include receiving the analytical model from a cloud service; obtaining local data of the IIoT edge node; analyzing the local data to determine a situational context of the IIoT edge node; determining whether to transform the analytical model based on a fit between the analytical model and the situational context; and in response to determining to transform the analytical model, transforming the analytical model based on the situational context to derive a transformed analytical model.

Abstract: A video management system may send time-stamped metadata corresponding to a video stream across a communication path having a limited bandwidth. Time-stamped metadata for a first reference video frame which identifies objects in the reference frame may be generated, and sent across the communication path. Time-stamped metadata for each of a plurality of first delta video frames following the first reference video frame may be generated, the time-stamped metadata for each of the plurality of first delta video frames may identify changes in detected objects relative to the objects identified in the time-stamped metadata for the first reference video frame. The time-stamped metadata for each of the plurality of first delta video frames may be sent across the communication path.

Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for presenting building information. In overview, the technologies described herein provide relationships between Building Information Modeling (BIM) data (which includes building schematics defined in terms of standardized three dimensional models) and Building Management System (BMS) data (which includes data indicative of the operation of building components such as HVAC components and the like). Some embodiments use relationships between these forms of data thereby to assist technicians in identifying the physical location of particular pieces of equipment, for example in the context of performing inspections and/or maintenance. In some cases this includes the provision of 2D and/or 3D maps to portable devices, these maps including the location of equipment defined both in BIM and BMS data. In some cases, augmented reality technology is applied thereby to provide richer access to positional information.

Abstract: A system is disclosed for reducing the likelihood of vehicle accidents, particularly accidents involving large commercial vehicles, such as aircraft. The system includes one or more wearable electronic devices worn by a vehicle operator, such as a pilot. Physiological emotional data is measured by the wearable device(s) and transmitted to a computing cloud or other computing device for analysis and comparison with a predictive model for indicating the emotional state of the operator. When an unsafe emotional state is detected, an alarm notification is generated and transmitted to an appropriate group of users for resolution.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a cloud-based vehicle monitoring platform (CVMP) configured to manage events impacting the operation of a plurality of vehicles. An onboard vehicle monitoring system associated with a particular vehicle is communicably coupled to CVMP centralized services and can determine corrective actions to employ to mitigate the events. The corrective actions in some contexts are generated by a rules engine based on a rule set generated by a federated learning model associated with the CVMP centralized services. If the onboard vehicle monitoring system determines that a first set of corrective actions generated based on a first set of rules is unsuccessful at mitigating the events, the onboard vehicle monitoring system can request a secondary set of rules from the CVMP centralized services. Various data recovery operations in some contexts are employed to revert the vehicle from a problem state back into a steady state.
