    Abstract: The invention relates to a surface mount microwave system, comprising a multilayer arrangement (101) comprising a first conductive layer (103), a second conductive layer (105) and a dielectric layer (107), wherein the first conductive layer (103) is arranged on the dielectric layer (107), and wherein the dielectric layer (107) is arranged on the second conductive layer (105), wherein the first conductive layer (103) comprises a microwave circuit (109) and wherein the second conductive layer (105) forms a reference potential layer, a hollow microwave waveguide (111) being at least partly formed in the second conductive layer (105), and a microwave transition structure (113) for electromagnetically coupling the first conductive layer (103) with the hollow microwave waveguide (111).     Abstract: A transmission line assembly includes a shielding cover and a signal line. The shielding cover is connected to a ground end. The shielding cover has an accommodation space. A first opening and a second opening are provided in the accommodation space. The signal line includes a first end and a second end that are disposed opposite to each other. The signal line penetrates the accommodation space, and there is a gap between the signal line and an inner side wall of the accommodation space. The first end passes through the first opening. The second end passes through the second opening. At least one of the first end and the second end of the signal line is configured to be connected to a signal end. The signal line is in an air dielectric, so that a signal loss is effectively reduced.
