Abstract:
This application provides communication methods, devices, and systems for improving communication efficiency. One communication method includes: receiving, by a target access network device and from a source access network device, a handover request message sent by a source access network device, wherein the handover request message is used to for requesting to hand over a terminal device from the source access network device to the target access network device; and obtaining, by the target access network device, network slice selection assistance information supported by the terminal device, wherein the network slice selection assistance information supported by the terminal device is used to indicates a network slice supported by the terminal device.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the fields of mobile communication, connected driving, Internet of vehicles (IoV), self-driving car, and autonomous car. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to side-link communication and network slicing. The present disclosure provides a control unit for assisting side-link communication for at least one slice of a communication network, wherein the control unit is configured to obtain at least one of an upper layer requirement, and a session requirement; and to configure, for the at least one slice, at least one side-link resource pool based on the upper layer requirement and/or session requirement.
Abstract:
The present disclosure discloses example communication methods and apparatuses. One example method includes obtaining physical random access channel (PRACH) configuration information of one or more cells by a first central unit (CU). The PRACH configuration information of the one or more cells is sent from the first CU to a first distributed unit (DU).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for energy saving in a cellular communication system, the cellular communication system including one or more clusters of cells. Each cluster includes one or more base stations and one or more mobile stations. The method includes exchanging, between base stations belonging to a first cluster, measurement information associated with mobile stations of the first cluster, and changing energy saving configuration for cells belonging to the first cluster based on the measurement information.
Abstract:
A user device is provided. The user device comprises a transceiver configured to: receive a first Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI), wherein the first RNTI is valid for a first set of network nodes of a radio communication network; receive at least one second RNTI, wherein the second RNTI is valid for a second set of network nodes of the radio communication network, and wherein the first set of network nodes and the second set of network nodes are different sets of network nodes; transmit data to the radio communication network , or receive data from the radio communication network , using the first RNTI or the second RNTI. Furthermore, a network node and corresponding methods, a computer program, and a computer program product are provided.
Abstract:
Method and apparatus in a cellular wireless communication system are provided. A mobile station is handed over from a first network control node to a second network control node. A second network control node transmits a mobile identity indicator embedded in a handover report message to the first network control node after the successful handover. The transmitting is triggered by an occurrence of a handover failure or a radio link failure for the mobile station while the mobile station is connected to the second network control node. The first network control node receives the mobile identity indicator and identifies the mobile station using the mobile identity indicator.
Abstract:
An entity, particularly a Radio Access Network (RAN) entity, adjusts Quality of Service (QoS) of at least one QoS flow in a RAN. The entity is configured to: obtain assistance information for an adjustment of at least one QoS profile for the at least one QoS flow of at least one wireless communication device, particularly of at least one user equipment (UE); and provide, to a second entity, particularly to a Core Network (CN) entity, a request for an adjustment or QoS information for the adjustment from a first QoS profile to a second QoS profile of a first QoS flow. The request or the QoS information is based on the assistance information.
Abstract:
This application provides a communication method and apparatus, to help a terminal device obtain a better service. The method includes: sending, by an access network device, an initial user equipment UE message to a core network device; and receiving, by the access network device, an initial context setup request message sent by the core network device, where the initial context setup request message includes first information, and the first information is used to indicate at least one network slice preferentially used by a terminal device.
Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention provide a base station, a network controller, and a forward handover method. The base station includes a first base station to which a target cell of user equipment belongs and a second base station to which the user equipment belongs, where the second base station includes: a second processor and a second transceiver, the second processor generates a forward handover indication, and the second transceiver sends the forward handover indication to the first base station, so that when receiving an RRC re-establishment request message of the user equipment, the first base station acquires context information of the user equipment from the second base station according to the forward handover indication. In the foregoing manner, the user equipment can independently select a target cell, and overcomes a disadvantage of violating a basic criterion in the prior art that mobility management is determined and controlled by a network.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a user device and a network node. Furthermore, the present invention also relates to corresponding methods, a computer program, and a computer program product. A Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI) is assigned to a User Device from a radio communication network, wherein the assigned RNTI is valid for a plurality of network nodes of the radio communication network and associated with a common data channel of the radio communication network.
