Abstract: A data transmission method and an apparatus are provided. The data transmission method in the present invention includes: determining, by a first device and according to data stream information, whether a data transfer protocol TCP parameter in a data stream corresponding to the data stream information needs to be modified, where the data stream information includes at least one of the following information: information about the first device, information about a second device, service information, or network status information; if determining that the TCP parameter needs to be modified, modifying, by the first device, the TCP parameter, to obtain a modified TCP parameter; and generating, by the first device, a modification result of the TCP parameter.

Abstract: A video quality assessment method includes obtaining a video quality assessment parameter of a to-be-assessed video, where the video quality assessment parameter of the to-be-assessed video includes an average packet loss gap of the to-be-assessed video, determining packet loss dispersion of the to-be-assessed video based on the video quality assessment parameter of the to-be-assessed video, and determining quality of the to-be-assessed video based on a packet loss rate of the to-be-assessed video, an average consecutive packet loss length of the to-be-assessed video, the packet loss dispersion of the to-be-assessed video, and attribute information of the to-be-assessed video.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a system for transmitting a multicast packet are provided. The method includes: when a device that is in a source subnet and that is connected to a core network receives a multicast packet of a target multicast group, determining addresses of devices that are in a plurality of destination subnets corresponding to the target multicast group and that are connected to the core network, replicating the multicast packet, to obtain a plurality of multicast packets whose quantity is equal to a quantity of the plurality of destination subnets, separately adding outer encapsulation to each multicast packet, and forwarding the multicast packet to which the outer encapsulation is added, where a destination address in the outer encapsulation is an address of a device that is in each destination subnet and that is connected to the core network.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for detecting a scene change frame in a video and a system, where when a scene change frame in the video is detected, whether a maximum P frame (Pmax) in all P frames in a group of pictures (GOP) of the video is a scene change frame is determined based on a relative relationship between a size Pkmax of Pmax and a median or an average of sizes of a plurality of I frames between Pmax and a scene change frame closest to Pmax and before Pmax, or a relative relationship between Pkmax and a median or an average of sizes of a plurality of P frames in the GOP to detect a scene change frame in the P frames such that missed detection of a scene change frame is effectively reduced.
