Abstract: The present disclosure in at least one embodiment provides a braking system comprising: a pedal master unit; an electric booster unit; a reaction disc that generates a pedal force when compressed by at least one of the operating rod or the motor piston; and a controller that, upon receiving a regenerative braking interruption signal during the cooperative braking of the vehicle, senses a pressure change in the master cylinder and compensates for a displacement of the motor piston by an amount corresponding to the pressure change.

Abstract: A brake system and a method of controlling the brake system including a pedal master unit, an electric booster unit, a pedal-feel generating unit, and an electric control unit, wherein the pedal master unit includes a master cylinder and an operating rod, the electric booster unit includes a motor, a motor piston, and a gear device-screw shaft combination, the pedal-feel generating unit includes a reaction disk configured to form a pedal feel force (FRD) and a pedal spring arranged to form a pedal feel force (Fspring), and the electric control unit is configured to variably control, in a regenerative braking mode and in a hydraulic braking mode, a ratio of increase to decrease of the pedal feel force (FRD) and a ratio of increase to decrease of the pedal feel force (Fspring).

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an electric booster comprising: a motor piston configured to be moved by a motor; an operating rod configured to be moved in a direction parallel to a moving direction of the motor piston; a reaction disc configured to be pressed and moved by at least one of the motor piston and the operating rod; a master cylinder configured to generate a hydraulic pressure as the reaction disc moves; and a control unit controlling the operation of the motor, wherein the control unit receives the stroke of the brake pedal, calculates a required hydraulic braking force and a required stepping force based on the pedal stroke, and determines a required displacement of the motor piston for generating the required hydraulic braking force and the required stepping force using a contact area between the operating rod and the reaction disc.

Abstract: At least one embodiment of the present disclosure provides an electric booster brake apparatus including an electric booster unit, an electronic stability control (ESC) operating unit, and an electric-booster control unit. The electric booster unit has a motor, and a motor piston and a master cylinder and pressurizes the master cylinder by adjusting a displacement of the motor piston. The ESC operating unit includes a pressure sensor measuring pressure in the master cylinder and calculates a required braking pressure. The electric-booster control unit controls the position of the motor piston. The electric-booster control unit includes a feedforward control unit for converting the value of the required braking pressure into a motor piston displacement, and a feedback control unit for calculating a compensation displacement of the motor piston based on a difference between the value of the required braking pressure and the value of the pressure in the master cylinder.

Abstract: A braking control apparatus for a vehicle including: a pedal stroke sensing unit configured to sense a pedal stroke of a brake pedal; a pedal simulator pressure sensing unit configured to sense pressure of a pedal simulator that provides a reaction force in response to a stepping force of the brake pedal; and a control unit configured to apply different computation methods by selectively utilizing a pedal stroke STR sensed by the pedal stroke sensing unit and pedal simulator pressure P_SIM sensed by the pedal simulator pressure sensing unit at a plurality of stages defined while the brake pedal is pressed and released, and decide required braking pressure P which is required for braking the vehicle.
