摘要: A water extractor including: an inlet; an outlet; a body including a helical passageway having an exit proximate the outlet and an entrance; an elbow connector enclosing a fluid passageway that fluidly connects the inlet to the entrance of the helical passageway, the elbow connector being bent at a selected angle and including an inner radius and an outer radius opposite the inner radius; and a baffle extending from proximate the inlet to the entrance and located within the fluid passageway of the elbow connector, the baffle being configured to partition the fluid passageway into a first fluid passageway proximate the inner radius of the elbow connector and a second fluid passageway proximate the outer radius of the elbow connector.

摘要: An annular water removal system (AWRS) for an air cycle environmental control system (ECS) includes a line replaceable unit (LRU) configured to output air flow, and a water collector coupled to the LRU. The water collector includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion includes a coalescing unit having a collector inlet to receive the air flow and configured to coalesce moisture from the air flow output from the LRU. The lower portion includes a collection unit in fluid communication with the coalescing unit. The collection unit is configured to collect the moisture coalesced by the coalescing unit.

摘要: A servovalve includes a fluid transfer valve assembly comprising a supply port and a control port and a moveable valve spool arranged to regulate flow of fluid from the supply port to the control port in response to a control signal. The servovalve also includes a jet pipe assembly configured to direct fluid to the ends of the spool to axially move the valve spool relative to the fluid transfer assembly in response to the control signal to regulate the fluid flow. The jet pipe assembly comprises a jet pipe a connector header fluidly connecting the jet pipe to a nozzle. The spool has one or more openings 28 is provided in the spool such that fluid from the supply port flows into the interior of the spool and into the jet pipe.

摘要: A servovalve includes: a fluid transfer valve assembly comprising a supply port and a control port; a moveable valve spool arranged to regulate flow of fluid from the supply port to the control port in response to a control signal; and a jet pipe assembly configured to axially move the valve spool relative to the fluid transfer assembly in response to the control signal to regulate the fluid flow. The spool includes a tubular body defining a path for fluid flow, the tubular body closed at each end by a respective end cap having openings via which, in use, fluid enters the interior of the spool. The end caps extend within the tubular body at least to an extent that they overlap the openings, and wherein the end caps are provided with filter means for filtering the fluid from the openings as it enters the spool.
