    Abstract: A thermal management system, comprising: a primary coolant circulation system for cooling a first coolant by circulating the first coolant which is heat-exchanged with cooling water through a first water-cooled condenser; a secondary coolant circulation system for cooling a battery chiller by using a second coolant which is heat-exchanged with the first coolant of the primary coolant circulation system; and a second cooling line for cooling a battery by circulating cooling water which is heat-exchanged through the battery chiller, wherein the number of revolutions of the first condenser of the primary coolant circulation system is less than the number of revolutions of the second condenser of the secondary coolant circulation system, or the first coolant and the second coolant are heat-exchanged via the cooling water, such that the battery can be cooled efficiently during rapid charging.

    Abstract: A heat management system of the present invention comprises: a coolant heater for heating coolant; a first coolant pump which is connected to a coolant inlet or a coolant outlet of the coolant heater to pump the coolant and is coupled to the coolant heater; and a second coolant pump which is connected to a battery side to pump the coolant and is coupled to the coolant heater, wherein the coolant heater, the first coolant pump, and the second coolant pump are arranged in an engine room of a vehicle. Thus, a loss of coolant pressure can be reduced in a pipe which connects components constituting a coolant system of the vehicle, such that the performance of the system is improved and noise and vibration in the interior of the vehicle may be reduced.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat pump system for a vehicle which can enhance heating performance of a plug-in hybrid vehicle by heating engine coolant necessary for heating using a refrigerant cycle. The heat pump system for a vehicle includes: an evaporator disposed inside an air-conditioning case to exchange heat between air and refrigerant; a heater core disposed inside the air-conditioning case to exchange heat between air and coolant; a first coolant line connecting an engine with the heater core so that the coolant is circulated; a first refrigerant circulation loop which circulates a compressor for compressing and discharging the refrigerant, an air-cooled condenser for exchanging heat between the refrigerant and air, a first expansion means for expanding the refrigerant, and the evaporator in a cooling mode; and a second refrigerant circulation loop which circulates the compressor, a water-cooled heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the refrigerant and the coolant, a second expansion means for expanding the refrigerant, and the air-cooled condenser in a heating mode. The water-cooled heat exchanger is disposed in the first coolant line between the engine and the heater core to exchange heat between the refrigerant of high temperature and high pressure passing through the compressor and the coolant of the first coolant line.

    Abstract: An embodiment heat pump system for a vehicle includes an air conditioner unit and a chiller. The air conditioner unit includes a compressor, first through third heat-exchangers, a first expansion valve, and an evaporator interconnected by a refrigerant line for circulating a refrigerant through the refrigerant line, and the chiller is connected to the refrigerant line through a first connection line for adjusting a temperature of a coolant by heat-exchanging the refrigerant with the coolant. The air conditioner unit further includes a second expansion valve on the first connection line upstream of the chiller, a first valve on the refrigerant line between the first and second heat-exchangers, a third expansion valve on the refrigerant line between the first valve and the second heat-exchanger, a second valve on the refrigerant line between the evaporator and the compressor, and a fourth expansion valve on a second connection line.
