The logic signals can be processed in various ways.In one embodiment, discrimination is made of repeated logic signals produced by a single thread break.In another embodiment, the total number of logic signals are counted.Blocking arrangements can be provided to block logic signals caused by the same thread break or thread loop.

    摘要: The monitor is spaced a small distance from the curved path of the travelling thread to sense defects in the thread. In one embodiment, the monitoring means is spaced from the winding surface of a chuck to sense broken threads or an accurate build-up of the thread package. The monitoring means includes a detector head with a charge collector rod for sensing changes in electrical potential of the rod due to contact with a travelling thread part. The monitoring means can be moved away from the chuck to maintain a constant distance from the thread package being wound on a bobbin tube on the chuck.

    摘要: The controlled magnetic bearing arrangement supports a rotatable shaft and contains an electronic control circuit. The shaft is floatingly supported in the bearing arrangement by magnets controlled by the electronic control circuit and the stiffness of the shaft is thereby adjustable. The shaft may constitute a package support shaft in a winding device of a spinning machine and has a free end for permitting the axial exchange of bobbin tubes and packages. This arrangement provides the advantages of attaining very high rotational speeds for the package support shaft and the possibility of varying the stiffness of such package support shaft and thus the critical rotational speeds. The regions of the critical rotational speeds can be passed through in a safe manner.

    摘要: The present invention concerns an apparatus for winding threads or yarns and similar strands, in which a friction drive roll and a bobbin support roll are provided. The latter is supported only at one end, and the other end is free, in such manner that easy operation is possible. In arrangements of such type any deviation, however small, of the two rolls from their correct, parallel position, is to be avoided if correctly built bobbin packages are to be produced in the winding process. This is achieved according to the invention in that a coupling means, coupled or connected with the bobbin support roll, which moves during the winding process, brings about a forcible parallel alignment of the two rolls.

    摘要: A heatable drawroll for drawtwisting, draw-winding and spin-draw winding machines includes a stationary induction heating coil having a core and mounted within rotatable metal jacket. A sleeve of heat and electrical insulating material is stationarily disposed inside the jacket in radially spaced relation to the jacket and the coil to circumferentially surround the coil and form an intermediate space therewith for receiving a coolant for cooling the coil. Means are provided for supplying coolant to and removing coolant from the intermediate space. A second coolant space can also be formed between the coil and the core and be connected with the first space via coolant ducts through the coil. The sleeve may be porous so as to allow some of the coolant to flow therethrough and impinge on the inner surface of the jacket.

    摘要: Threads made from thermoplastic materials are textured, in that they are heated by a delivery medium in a delivery channel and conveyed through an orifice into a stuffer box where they are stuffed to form a plug. In order to maintain plug formation constant, the orifice area is monitored in a sensory manner and the measured signals are used for monitoring purposes as a measured quantity in a control loop, in which the supply of damming back medium, the conveying away speed of the plug, the position of the stuffer box walls, or the supply of delivery medium are used as manipulated variables. The measuring signals produced by monitoring can be compared with thresholds to produce control signals corresponding to the comparison result for activating alarm, warning or stopping elements. Sensory monitoring is carried out by measuring the dynamic pressure prevailing in the delivery channel close to the orifice, by measuring the dynamic pressure in a fluidic nozzle issuing into the stuffer box, or by monitoring with an optical sensor the interior of the stuffer box.

    摘要: Excess liquid is removed from a fast-moving thread, in that the latter is deflected, so that the liquid is hurled off, the hurled off liquid is removed from the thread, in that the thread is passed through a closed chamber, where a vacuum is produced in order to facilitate liquid evaporation and in that the thread is led through a narrow gap, so that the layer directly surrounding the thread and travelling therewith is peeled off. The combination of these drying effects constitutes one process stage. Advantageously, this process stage is performed several times in direct succession, so that in the case of a thread-protecting, small deflection angle a good thread drying can be achieved. The process is performed by an apparatus comprising several chambers (K.1-3) connected in series in the thread movement direction, the thread being deflected at the inlet and/or outlet with respect to each chamber by a deflection element (U.1-4) and passes through a narrow gap (S.1-). The chamber walls (20.1-4), which carry the thread passage, are inclined away from the thread in the gravity direction. The hurled off liquid, under the influence of gravity flows through corresponding passages, which interconnect the chambers and passes into the final chamber in the thread movement direction and is sucked off from the latter.
