    摘要: System and method are provided for parallel vector data processing having a data processor capable of vector data having a defined first bit-length. In one embodiment, at least one of first and second operand registers is used for storing operands, and an additional data storage element is used to have a size to store a number of bits corresponding to the first bit-length, and the storage element is segmented into a defined number of segments. An instruction set storage unit is used for storing a set of instructions for the data processor to process a set of data in parallel by use of the additional storage element.
