    摘要: A cooling device is proposed that can be produced by the diecasting process, and which has a heat-transfer unit surrounded by an outer shell, wherein a jacket through which coolant flows is formed between the heat-transfer unit and the outer shell, said jacket is subdivided by webs in such a way that a passage through which coolant flows is formed between the outer shell and the outer casing of the heat-transfer unit. To this end, the webs are arranged in such a way that this circulating flow is effected in a meander shape. Compared with a spiral flow, this results in degrees of freedom with regard to the arrangement of the coolant inlets and coolant outlets. Furthermore, such cooling devices can be produced and assembled in a cost-effective manner and have a high efficiency.

    摘要: The invention relates to a controllable two-way valve, in which a valve rod is connected in a permanent manner to at least two valve members, the valve rod is activated by means of an actuator. The housing comprises an inlet or outlet and two corresponding outlets, or inlets. According to the invention, the two valve members correspond with at least two valve seats and the two or more valve members have three control surfaces. The invention thus provides a dirt-resistant valve, which is easy to operate, has fixed valve members and does not require additional equipment. The valve permits both the inlet to be completely blocked and the two outlets to be controlled independently of one another.

    摘要: Heat transmission units are known wherein ribs for improving the cooling efficiency extend along the whole length of the flow path of the radiator. According to the invention, it is proposed, while keeping the constructional space at the same size, to provide a larger cooling surface in a first portion, which has a higher temperature gradient, and which is accomplished by a large number of ribs arranged therein, and to omit such ribs or to reduce their number in a region that has a lower temperature gradient, i.e. in a second portion. In this manner, the overall efficiency of such a heat transmission unit is improved.

    摘要: An exhaust-gas cooling device for an internal combustion engine includes a housing with an exhaust-gas inlet, an exhaust-gas outlet, a valve device, and a U-shaped heat exchange unit including an outbound flow path and a return flow path. The housing comprises, on the open side of the U-shaped heat exchange unit, a first, a second and a third chamber. The first chamber provides a fluid connection from the exhaust-gas inlet to the second chamber, and the third chamber provides a fluid connection from the second chamber to the exhaust-gas outlet. The valve device is arranged in the second chamber such that the second chamber can be divided into two partial chambers, a first one of the partial chambers is arranged in fluid connection with the outbound flow path, and the second one of the partial chambers is arranged in fluid connection with the return flow path.

    摘要: An air-intake tube system for internal combustion engines with straight or V-type cylinder configuration having individual intake ducts providing adjustable length of air flow between and air-inlet chamber and the individual cylinders. A maximum duct length is obtained when a shortcut aperture in the intake duct is closed, whereas by opening the shortcut aperture the shortest length of air flow takes place between the inlet chamber and the cylinder. The inlet chamber is closed off by a unit having upper and lower flanges which can be selectively mounted on and demounted from a skirt-like wall of the air-intake ducts. The unit is provided with a self-contained closure-valve mechanism for the shortcut ducts. The lower flange of the unit forms a clearance space therebelow between the intake ducts, in which are disposed further structural elements, containing components which are connected to the cylinder heads of the internal combustion engine and are accessible for maintenance by removing the unit.
