The carbonyl groups of the Ar radical are on non-adjacent ring carbon atoms.A is up to three different radicals.Ar' has the meaning given for Ar or is an Ar--Z--Ar group.In this case, Z is a --C(CH.sub.3).sub.2 -- or --O--Ar*--O--bridge.Y is a --C(CH.sub.3).sub.2 --, --SO.sub.2 --, --S-- or a --C(CF.sub.3).sub.2 --bridge and has up to two different meanings in the same polymer.Ar.sub.1 and Ar.sub.2 are identical or different from one another and are each a substituted or unsubstituted para- or meta-arylene radical. The sum of the mole fractions x, y and z is one. The sum of x and z may not be equal to y and x can assume the value zero. In a preferred embodiment, z is greater than x.

    摘要: The invention relates to a mixture composed of polyoxymethylene (component A), a rubber-elastic graft copolymer in which the particles have been formed from a rubber-elastic, single-phase core based on polydiene and a hard graft shell (component B) and a polymeric third component (component C).The invention also relates to a three-component mixture of the components A, B' and C, the core, in the case of B' being preponderantly or entirely composed of poly(meth)acrylic acid ester or silicone rubber instead of polydiene.The shaped articles produced from these mixtures are particularly distinguished by good low-temperature impact strength.

    摘要: A thermoplastically processible aromatic polyetheramide, in which the structure comprises the repeating units of the formulae--CO--AR--CO-- (A)and--NH--Ar--O--Ar--X--Ar--O--Ar--NH-- (B)in which Ar signifies a bivalent unsubstituted or substituted aromatic radical having 6 carbon atoms, and whose linkages are in the p-position and X denotes a 2,2-propylidene linkage, the polyetheramide having an intrinsic viscosity [.eta.] in the range of 50 to 750 cm.sup.3 /g, and a glass transition temperature of above 200.degree. C., and a process for its production. The production of the polyetheramide is carried out by a low temperature solution condensation process, a solid phase condensation process, an interfacial condensation process or a melt condensation process.The polyetheramide is used for the production of molded articles in the form of filaments, wires, films and other moldings, which are produced by extrusion, press-molding or injection molding of the dry polyetheramide in powder form or by processing of solutions of the polyetheramide.

    摘要: Fiber-containing polyurethane foams having improved compression properties, especially at deformations of greater than 50%, are obtained by incorporating in the foam-forming composition from 0.1 to 10% by weight, based on the weight of finished foam, of polyolefin fibers, e.g., polyethylene or polypropylene fibers, that have been treated to provide them with functional groups that are reactive with isocyanates. The reactive fibers may be obtained by fixing to the fiber surface or incorporating in the fiber polyfunctional compounds, e.g., starch, methylcellulose, carboxy methylcellulose, saccharin, polyglycols, polyvinyl alcohol, hydroxyl-group-containing block copolymers, completely saponified copolymers of ethylene and vinylacetate and oxidation products of a polyolefin.

    摘要: Polyamides of the general formula [N(A)-X-N(B)-CO-Y-CO-].sub.n are described, in which Y denotes a divalent group, X a divalent radical whose chain contains at least two carbon atoms, A and B independently of one another denote H or a C.sub.1 to C.sub.26 alkyl group and n denotes an integer greater than 4. The said polyamides contain at least one alkyl group of C.sub.6 to C.sub.26 per repeating unit. The groups X and/or Y contain at leat one CH.sub.2 group in the chain. The polyamides are prepared by reaction of a diamine of the formula NHA-X-NHB with an about equimolar amount of a reactive derivative of a dicarboxylic acid of the formula COOH-Y-COOH. The polyamides obtained can be used in order to prepare highly ordered monomolecular LB films on a support. For this purpose, the polyamide is dissolved in a volatile organic solvent which is immiscible with water and the solution is spread on the water/air interface. After evaporation of the solvent the layer is compressed and transferred to a solid support by the LB technique. The film is very stable and can be used to prepare optical waveguide systems, filters for optical purposes or protective layers.
