    摘要: An interchangeable machine tool holder unit for use in a machining apparatus for the support of a machining element, for example, a cutting bit, which includes an elongated rotary body adapted to be driven in one direction about the longitudinal axis thereof, a tool holder supported in end-to-end fashion by the rotary body for movement in a direction radially of the rotary body, an axially displaceable member axially displaceably carried inside the rotary body, and an indexing mechanism for causing the axially displaceable member to move in the axial direction each time the rotary body undergoes one complete rotation to permit the tool holder to move in the radial direction. During the continued rotation of the rotary body in one direction, the displaceable member is axially moved in response to each complete rotation of the rotary body, and the movement of the displaceable member results in a radial shift of the tool holder to permit the cutting bit to effect counterboring, drilling or cutting of a workpiece.

    摘要: The present invention provides a capped collet and a cap attached to the collet, which are capable of efficiently supplying a cooling fluid to a tool according to the type of the tool held therein, and of performing satisfactory cooling. The capped collet comprises: a collet body 10; a cap 11 which is attached to the top-end side of the collet body 10 in an attachable and detachable manner and which allows the tool to pierce therethrough; and a sealing member 12 placed between a tool holder 101 and the cap 11 in order to hermetically seal a space between them. The collet body 10 has a slot 13 formed at least from the top-end side thereof, and an annular projection 21 which is formed on the top-end side and which is coupled with the cap 11. The cap 1 has an annular groove 18 for coupling with the annular projection 21 of the collet body 10, and a cover 22 for covering the end face of the collet body 10 on the top-end side.

The first edge line slopes down towards the second edge line so that the distance with a seat face 11 decreases gradually as viewed from the side, and the first edge line forms an obtuse angle with the second edge line causing the top face area to dip down towards the seat face. The first edge line is shorter than the second edge line.

The tapper proper has a shaft to be driven, which is supported under floating axially by means of a pair of springs the pressurizing direction of which are opposite to each other, built-in. Cutting oil is pressurized to be fed from the outside of the tapper proper through oil passages, respectively which are provided on the tapper proper and the shaft to be driven to a oil hole and, in that case, the oil passages are formed such that the resultant hydraulic pressure does not give rise to an action of breaking the floating state of the shaft to be driven.
