The carrier includes a plurality of apertures for receiving each a corresponding roller element. The body includes a plurality of detents separated by ridges. The number of detents is different than the number of roller elements. The body is at least partially received in the carrier such that the detents are in radial alignment with the apertures. The band spring is disposed about the roller elements. The roller elements travel across the detents and ridges to cause elastic deformation of the band spring when the body is rotated about a central axis.

    摘要: A portable power drill comprises a housing, a drilling implement carrying drive spindle, and two individually powered and controlled motors for rotating and axially feeding the drive spindle. The drive spindle is rotative and axially displaceable relative to the housing and connected to the drive and feed motors via angle gears including two bevel gears supported on the drive spindle. The feed via an axially locked but rotative nut piece and an external thread on the drive spindle, whereas the drive motor is drivingly connected to the drive spindle via longitudinal keyways on the drive spindle and mating splines in one of the bevel gears. The drive motor and the feed motor are electric motors controlled and monitored by a programmable control unit.

    摘要: The present invention provides an automated-torque controlled tool for attachment to a milling machine. The tool comprises an elongated hollow housing defined by a neck section, a middle section, and a bottom section. The neck section is adapted to engage a spindle of the milling machine for rotational and axial movement therewith. A torque spring is situated within the middle section of the housing. A torque adjuster is dimensioned and configured to sit within the neck section of the housing on top the torque spring. A bit holder and driver mechanism are rotationally mounted within the bottom section of the housing. When the torque threshold is reached by the bit holder, the driver mechanism rotationally disengages from the bit holder.

    摘要: A power driver may include a housing, a tool chuck and a power take off mechanism. The tool chuck may have an input shaft mounted for rotation on the housing. The input shaft may support threaded chuck jaws. A chuck actuating shaft may be mounted for rotation on the input shaft. The chuck actuating shaft may be screw coupled to the threaded chuck jaws. The power take off mechanism may be connected to the tool chuck. The power take off mechanism may be adjustable into a DRILL DRIVE MODE to rotationally drive the input shaft and the chuck actuating shaft together as a unit, and a CHUCK MODE to rotationally drive the chuck actuating shaft relative to the input shaft. The power take off mechanism may be internal of the housing. The power take off mechanism in the CHUCK MODE may rotationally fix the input shaft to the housing.
