    摘要： In a system where a plurality of electronic devices are connected via digital audio transmission lines based on the S/PDIF standard or the like, quick and easy update of software is made possible even if the electronic devices are not provided with a broadcast reception function, a network connection function and the like. A TV (1) is connected to an AV amplifier (2) via an S/PDIF line (3). The TV (1) is provided with: a tuner (11) that acquires update data used for updating software in the AV amplifier (2); and a S/PDIF terminal (19) that transmits the thus acquired update data to the AV amplifier (2) via the S/PDIF line (3). The AV amplifier (2) is provided with a controller (21) that updates the software in the AV amplifier (2) with the update data transmitted by the TV (1).

    摘要： Updating of software is made to be quick and easy, even for electronic devices that do not have a broadcasting-receiving function or a network-connecting function, in a system in which multiple electronic devices are connected via a communication interface such as HDMI. A software updating system has a recorder (1) and an AV amplifier (2) connected via an HDMI. The recorder (1) is provided with a tuner (11) that obtains update data for updating the software of the AV amplifier (2), and an HDMI transmission unit (19) that transmits the obtained update data to the AV amplifier (2), via an audio transmission line of the HDMI standard. The AV amplifier (2) is provided with a controller (21) that updates the software of the AV amplifier (2) with the update data transmitted from the recorder (1).

    摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body, an apparatus-side terminal provided to a first inner side wall of the apparatus body, a developer container to contain developer and to be removably installable in the apparatus body, a container-side terminal electrically connectable to the apparatus-side terminal and disposed in a first end portion of the developer container in a longitudinal direction thereof, and an apparatus-side protrusion projecting inward from the first inner side wall of the apparatus body. In removal of the developer container from the apparatus body, a second end portion of the developer container in the longitudinal direction is disengaged from the apparatus body before the first end portion is disengaged from the apparatus body, and the apparatus-side protrusion contacts the first end portion of the developer container immediately after removal of the developer container from the apparatus body is started.

    摘要： The developer container includes a rotator that is rotated in the container body, a sequence of gears disposed outside the developer container that transmits a torque to the rotator, and a container guiding portion that fits with a main body side guiding portion and guides the developer container in a direction in which the developer container is attached to a mounting portion of an image forming device main body. A first gear included in the sequence of the gears is movable between an operating position where the first gear engages with a second gear and a retracted position where the first gear is retracted. On a surface on which the container guiding portion is disposed, a part of the container guiding portion is disposed within a projected area of the first gear being disposed at the operating position.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a composite lens and a method for manufacturing the same, particularly to a composite lens in which a second lens component is coupled to a first lens component at part of a first surface, and intends to improve optical characteristics. A composite lens (1) has a first lens component (10) and a second lens component (20). The first lens component (10) has a first surface including a first lens surface (13), a peripheral surface (15a) surrounding the first lens surface (13) and a ring surface (17a) included in the peripheral surface (15a) and surrounding the first lens surface (13), and a second lens surface (12) on the opposite side of the first lens surface (13). The second lens component (20) is coupled to the first lens component (10) at part of the first surface surrounded by the ring surface (17a). The ring surface (17a) is positioned on a portion of the first lens component protruding from a joint portion (14) between the first lens surface (13) and the peripheral surface (15a) in a first direction from the second lens surface (20) to the first lens surface (10) along an optical axis of the first lens component (10) and is exposed out of the second lens component (20).

    摘要： A development device includes a developer carrier, a bearing member, a biasing member, and a guide. The developer carrier supplies a developer to an electrostatic latent image formed on an image carrier to develop the electrostatic latent image into a toner image. The bearing member rotatably supports the developer carrier axially. The biasing member is provided on a side of the bearing member opposite the image carrier to apply a force to the bearing member to move the bearing member and the developer carrier toward the image carrier. The guide is disposed about the bearing member to enable the bearing member to move therebetween and guide the bearing member toward the image carrier. The bearing member includes a rotatable part to rotate and slide over the guide while contacting the guide.
