摘要: A reverse drive for small vehicles in which an output shaft of a second motor, which is different from the internal combustion engine for running use, can be connected to the transmission line leading from the internal combustion engine to the rear wheel so as to rotate the rear wheel in reverse. The second motor is a starter motor capable of normal and reverse rotations, the normal rotation of the starter motor being transmitted to the internal combustion engine for driving use through a starting clutch, and the reverse rotation of said starter motor being transmitted to the power transmission line through a reverse clutch. Otherwise, the second motor may be a starter motor capable of rotating only in one direction. In this case, the output of the starter motor is transmitted to the output side of the power transmission line through a reverse transmission line while the output transmission line is interrupted.

摘要: An automatic stand device for a two-wheeled vehicle with a plurality of sensor switch devices which individually or in conjunction are able to prevent the extension of the automatic stand device when the vehicle is in motion, and also to automatically extend the stand if so desired when the vehicle comes to a stop in the course of moving through traffic or when the vehicle is to be parked. The devices controlling the automatic stand extension each include a switch. In addition sensors are employed to control the switch based on any one or more of several criteria; position of the throttle, speed of the engine, needle position on the speedometer, and the state of a motion detector. Electrical circuits for the interpretation of these criteria are also provided.

摘要: The TDI sensor includes: a light receiving unit including pixel rows each having a plurality of image capturing elements arranged in a first direction and generating and holding electric charges corresponding to respective exposure amounts, and electric charge holding rows each having a plurality of electric charge holding sections having only a function of holding the electric charges and arranged in the first direction so as to correspond to respective image capturing elements of the pixel rows, one of the pixel rows and one or a plurality of the electric charge holding rows being alternately arranged in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; and a transfer unit that sequentially, on a row-by-row basis, transfers electric charges held by the image capturing elements and the electric charge holding sections to adjacent rows, and outputs a signal corresponding to electric charges finally accumulated by the transfer.

摘要: A suspension spring is provided with a telescopic member comprising a cylinder and a piston, and fluid pressurized by a pump is controlled by a control valve, and fed to the telescopic member or discharged therefrom. Due to the foregoing, the total length of the suspension springs is varied. Since the control valve is in association with a steering mechanism, either one of the pair of right and left suspension springs is expanded according to steering operation, while the other suspension spring is contracted. As a result, a vehicle body is inclined toward the turning center side. The inside of the cylinder may be defined into two upper and lower cylinder chambers by the piston, so that when fluid is fed to one of the cylinder chambers, the fluid is simultaneously discharged from the other cylinder chamber. The control valve is a rotary valve formed of an inner valve and an outer valve. Such rotary valves may be mounted on the respective suspension springs. Otherwise, the stream of the fluid may be switched by only one rotary valve to expand or contract the respective suspension springs.

摘要: A steering member for reciprocating in the right and left direction relative to a vehicle body is connected with a tie rod. The steering member is engaged with a lean control member. The lean control member is mounted on the vehicle body for swinging in the right and left direction. The lean control member is mounted with an upper end of a suspension spring. When the steering member is reciprocated in the right and left direction, the lean control member is swung according to the reciprocation of the steering member. According to the foregoing swinging, the suspension spring pushes down or pulls up vehicle wheels relative to the vehicle body. As a result, the vehicle body is inclined toward the turning center side. In this way, a driver can enjoy the same steering sense as that of a motorcycle in an automobile or a motor tricycle.

摘要: Telescopic members which are expanded and contracted by means of a fluid pressure controlled by a steering mechanism are integrally connected to suspension springs. And when a vehicle makes a turn, the body is caused to decline toward the turning center side due to the telescopic movement of the telescopic members according to the steering operation. The fluid pressure may be fed from a hydraulic cylinder including a piston associated for movement with the steering mechanism. Alternatively, fluid pressurized by a pump may be fed through a controlling valve which is actuated in response to the steering mechanism. At a time when the vehicle makes a turn, a satisfactory steering sense similar to a motorcycle can be obtained.

摘要: The present invention solves the problems of the electrical surge and reduced reliability related to the shock loading experienced by previous two wheeled vehicle stands when the stand member contacts the ground during the time it is being driven by the stand motor to a position for supporting the two wheeled vehicle. This is achieved by having a drive mechanism consisting of a plurality of reduction gears to transmit the drive from the stand motor to the stand member, thereby reducing the torque loading on the stand motor, and by mounting the drive mechanism so that it can move relative to the body of the two wheeled vehicle when the stand member first contacts the ground, and restricting this movement with a buffer device which absorbs the shock loading.
