The present invention is a method and apparatus for unidirectional coolant flow control unit for pressurized cooling systems. The invention comprises a valve on a coolant flow control unit. The valve remains in the open position during normal function of the coolant flow control unit. If the coolant flow control unit fails, the valve closes. Thus, the cooling system performs better than prior art cooling systems in the event of a failure of one or more coolant flow control units. In one embodiment, multiple improved coolant flow control units can be implemented wherein a flow of coolant enters one side of the system and exits the other side. In the even of a failure, the closure of the valve is caused by the shifting pressure within the system, which forestalls the cooling problems associated with prior art redundant coolant control flow systems.

An anti-misinsertion structure of a socket connector includes a pivot clasped to both sides of the top of an insulating base of the socket connector and two connecting arms extended horizontally from both sides of the pivot. Each connecting arm has a guide piece extended horizontally from an end of each connecting arm, a stop piece formed at the bottom of the connecting arm and proximate to the guide piece of the connecting arm, a downwardly tilted first guide bevel formed at the bottom of the guide piece, a position limit surface defined on a side of the guide piece and proximate to the stop piece, an upwardly tilted second guide bevel formed at the bottom of the stop piece, and a stop surface defined on a side of the stop piece and proximate to the guide piece and perpendicular to the position limit surface of the guide piece.

Disclosed herein are nanofilm coatings for implantable medical devices comprising a diblock or triblock copolymer (PEO-PMMA or PMOXA-PDMS-PMOXA, respectively). Such nanofilms, may be used, for example, as amphiphilic supports for therapeutic agents. These materials are conducive towards the formation of active substrates for a suite of biological and medical applications.

This artistic creation relates to a tool for removing screws with damaged heads. The tool comprises of a screw-removing section and a hold section. The screw-removing section extends a central drill involving a tip and composite angles, so as to remove the broken screws with even heads and avoid incline in operating. Moreover, the sunken relief surfaces of the screw-removing section form scraping edges with strong stress resistance. Some recesses on the scraping surfaces enhance resistance to dig into the heads of deformed screws and are apt to remove the broken screws. More specifically, this invention relates to such a bit especially adapted for use in a power drill running in a counter-clockwise direction.

A thread tapping device has a main seat, a rotating head, a handle rod, an adjustment rod, a pivot connector, and a pair of scrape blades. The main seat has a V-shaped groove, a bottom pivot hole, a through aperture, two connection bars, and an end block. The rotating head is disposed on the handle rod and inserted in the bottom pivot hole of the main seat. The adjustment rod has an upper lug and an outer threaded portion inserted in the rotating head. The pivot connector has a round aperture, a circular aperture, and a lower groove to receive the upper lug of the adjustment rod. Each scrape blade is disposed between the end block and one of the connection bars.

A connector equipped with snap latching structure includes a body, a latch member, a sleeve member and a socket. The body has a coupling section for engagement with the socket. The latch member is disposed in a recessed section of the coupling section of the body. The sleeve is disposed in the recessed section of the body to cover the latch member. The latch member has a pair of hook arms engageable with the wedge slots formed at the coupling section of the body. When the coupling section of the body engages with the socket, the hook arms latch with the side stubs located at two sides of the socket for preventing the connector from disengaging from the socket.

A method and apparatus for determining the burst bit rate for data in the transport layer of a network is described. The burst bit rate is determined by measuring the time for a total number of bytes to be transferred across a point in the network and adding that time to an estimated network delay. The total number of bytes transferred is then divided by the transfer time plus the estimated network delay thereby calculating the burst bit rate for the transfer.
