摘要: A laser power control circuit that is constituted by CMOS transistors reduces variations in a laser power that is emitted from a semiconductor laser, which are caused by a mismatch of the transistors. An offset amount of a differential amplifier is digitally calculated using an A/D converter that is located on the same chip, and a voltage value of a variable voltage source is controlled for applying a voltage in a direction opposite to the offset voltage of the differential amplifier to correct the offset voltage of the laser power control circuit, thereby reducing the variations in the laser power emitted from the semiconductor laser.

摘要: A cleaning machine for a printer is provided for cleaning an outer peripheral surface of a cylinder of the printer with a cleaning cloth through a pressure pad mounted through a holder on a mount member supported by side plates of the frame of the printer. The cleaning cloth is moved relative to the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder of the printer. The pressure pad is composed of a projected member made of elastic material. The projected member includes a flange portion, a first projected portion toward the cylinder and a second projected portion projected toward the mount member. The first and second projected portion is symmetric with each other for reversible use, resulting in prolonging the service life of the pressure pad.

摘要: According to the process for producing a foam sheet having an embossed pattern of the present invention, a coating containing an aliphatic ketone type solvent as its main ingredient and being incapable by itself of substantially inhibiting decomposition of a blowing agent comprising azodicarbonamide as its main ingredient is printed in the form of a pattern on selected portions of the surface of a foamable polyvinyl chloride resin sheet material containing a specific amine or amines and the blowing agent, and the foamable sheet material subsequently is heated to foam it. The quantity of gas given off due to decomposition of the blowing agent decreases to a large extent in the portions on which the coating has been printed by reason of interaction between the specific amine or amines and the aliphatic ketone type solvent and, consequently, the unprinted portions of the foamable sheet material are caused to foam to a greater extent than the printed portions, and the unprinted portions are raised in contrast to the printed portions, thereby presenting an appearance of an embossed pattern on the surface of the produced foam sheet.

摘要: An optical disc device according to the present invention is provided with, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a high frequency band processing circuit for removing low frequency components of signals outputted from plural photodetectors of a pickup, and generating various kinds of signals required for recording/playback of an optical disc by digital processing after performing AD conversion by a high-speed low-bit AD converter; and a low frequency band processing circuit for removing high frequency components of the signals outputted from the respective photodetectors of the pickup, and generating various kinds of signals required for recording/playback of an optical disc by digital processing after performing AD conversion by a low-speed high-bit time-division AD converter. Thereby, various kinds of signals required for recording/playback of an optical disc can be generated using a single circuit, whereby the product cost, power consumption, and circuit scale can be reduced.

摘要: A printing cylinder cleaning apparatus for cleaning, for example, a blanket surface on a blanket cylinder of an offset press has a continuous cylinder cleaning cloth stretched between a cleaning cloth supply roll and a cleaning cloth take-up roll which are rotatably mounted on side plates of the frame of a printing machine, whereby the cylinder cleaning cloth being capable of running relative to the outer peripheral surface of a cylinder of the printing machine in contact therewith. The cylinder cleaning cloth is pressed by a suitable pressing member onto the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder of the printing machine. The apparatus further has a cutter which is disposed to cross a common line which is tangent to outer peripheral surfaces of the cleaning cloth supply roll and the cylinder respectively. In case of breakage or tearing of the cloth, the portion caught and stretched by the cylinder is cut by the cutter.

摘要: Apparatus for spouting powder or fluid and including means for preventing operational problems caused by static electricity without requiring grounding devices is formed with a spout tube embodying therein a nozzle and defining a flow passage through which the powder or fluid flows. A transport tube through which the powder or fluid moves to the spout tube is provided and a main body is arranged to contain the powder or fluid from which it is delivered to the transport tube. The invention particularly includes a projecting electricity-eliminating member composed of material having volume resistivity of 10.sup.8 .OMEGA.-cm or less. The electricity-eliminating member is placed in the flow passage facing the flow layer of the powder or fluid flowing through the device and is electrostatically connected to the main body. The electricity-eliminating member is shaped in a particular configuration for eliminating static electricity developed during operation of the equipment without requiring grounding of the device.
