摘要: A pulley set for a continuously variable transmission unit, comprises a pair of discs accommodated on a shaft, and a screw mechanism which is concentric with respect to said discs and for moving the discs towards and from each other, said discs enclosing a V-shaped groove, for accommodating a belt, said screw mechanism being controllable by a control means. The control means including a motor unit, said motor unit comprising a stator and a rotor, one of said stator and rotor engaging the nut of the screw mechanism, and the other of said stator and rotor engaging the screw of the screw mechanism.

摘要: A continuously variable transmission system comprises a continuously variable transmission having two pulley sets each with two discs defining a V-shaped groove, drive means-for varying the width of said groove and a belt extending between said-pulley sets in the grooves thereof, as well as a forward-reverse control connected to the shaft of one of the pulley sets and a clutch connected to said forward-reverse control, said pulley sets, forward-reverse control and clutch each being provided with a respective actuator. The actuators of the forward-reverse control and of the clutch are of an electromechanical type.

摘要: An electromagnetic actuator (100) comprises magnets (109, 111, 113, 115, 11), and a ferromagnetic structure (103) accommodating control conductors (118, 121, 123, 125). The magnets and the structure can move with respect to one another under control of control currents in the control conductors. The magnetic field in a gap (107) between the magnets and the ferromagnetic structure is oriented perpendicular to the direction of relative movement. The structure (103) accommodates damping conductors (127) that form closed loops of an electrically conductive material, different from the ferromagnetic material. The damping conductors (127) provide a damping force induced by the relative movement.
