    摘要: A universal wheel driving system includes a sun gear provided to receive power from a power source mounted in a vehicle body, a ring gear to which a wheel is concentrically connected, a gear train engaged to the sun gear and the ring gear and configured to transfer the power between the sun gear and the ring gear while allowing relative motion between the rotation shafts of the sun gear and the ring gear, a carrier supporting a final pinion of the gear train and gear-meshing with the ring gear so that a position of the rotation shaft of the final pinion remains unchanged with respect to a position of the rotation shaft of the ring gear, and a suspension portion provided to support the carrier against the sun gear so that the ring gear and the carrier move up and down with respect to the vehicle body.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a shock absorber pump/compressor which comprises attachments to the car's chassis and to the wheel axle housing; a rack gear that is set into a reciprocating motion as the car runs on the uneven surface of the road; a pinion gear that is rotated back and forth by the rack gear; a crank that is attached fixedly to the shaft of the pinion gear and which sets a double piston to move in a reciprocating manner. A diaphragm is attached to each piston head and the periphery of each diaphragm is clamped tightly between the cylinder and a cylinder head. The interior of each cylinder head and a diaphragm form a contractive and expansive space which draws in fluid from an outside source as the space expands and forces the fluid out as the space contracts. At the same time as fluid is drawn into one contractive/expansive space, fluid is forced out of the other space at the other end of the double piston. The diaphragm not only protects the fluid from contamination by whatever piston lubricant is used behind it, it also prevents leakage of the operating fluid into the piston cylinder. This pumping or compressive action continues as long as there is energy that sets the rack gear in motion.

    摘要: In an independent wheel suspension assembly using a parallelogrammic linkage between the vehicle infrastructure and the wheel mounting member, a damper or shock absorber is mounted in a substantially horizontal position between an anchor point on the vehicle infrastructure and a levering bracket extending from the upper or lower arm of the parallelogrammic linkage. The horizontal placement of the damper lowers the overall profile of the vehicle and provides a convenient way for adjusting its elevation in relation to the wheels without affecting the damping characteristics of the suspension. The invention is particularly applicable to remotely controlled model racing cars.

The two chambers are each deformable under load and changes of pressure which are communicated between the chambers act on the respective chambers so that dynamic forces exerted on the body via one chamber tend to be counteracted by corresponding oppositely directed forces exerted on the body via the other chamber, hence reducing shake.

    摘要: A wheel suspension apparatus for a vehicle of the strut type, comprising a hydraulic damper disposed between the body and a wheel of the vehicle and including an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder slidably fitted thereover to define a main hydraulic chamber; an auxiliary cylinder is slidably fitted over the outer peripheral surface of the outer cylinder to define an auxiliary hydraulic chamber therebetween in communication with the main chamber, said auxiliary cylinder is urged in one axial direction under the hydraulic pressure in said third hydraulic chamber. A suspension coil spring is disposed under compression between the auxiliary cylinder and the outer cylinder for resiliently biasing the former in the other axial direction. The apparatus affords a freedom in designing the coil spring particularly in respect of the disposition space, length and diameter thereof in accordance with specific conditions required. The apparatus further includes a vehicle-height adjusting valve for adjusting the length of the damper to a predetermined constant level.
