The spring elements (17) located at the inner end (15) of the vanes (12) have, at unchanged space requirements, a spring force that is greater than the pressure force of the hydraulic pressure medium acting on the outer end (18) of the vanes (12) in the respective actuated pressure chamber of the device (1).

    摘要: The invention relates to a locking unit for a device for modifying the timing of charge change valves of an internal combustion engine, especially for a vane-cell control device. Said device (1) comprises a drive wheel (3) presenting a hollow space (8) and connected to a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine in a driving manner. The device also comprises an impeller (9) which has at least one vane (13) and is connected to the camshaft (2) in a non-rotating manner. At least one working chamber (20), which is divided by a vane (13) into two hydraulic pressure chambers (21, 22), is formed by intermediate walls (16) in the hollow space (8) of the drive wheel (3). When the pressure chambers (21, 22) are subjected to pressure by means of a hydraulic pressure medium they cause the impeller (9) to pivot in relation to the drive wheel (3). When there is no pressure in one of the two pressure chambers (21, 22) the impeller (9) and the drive wheel (3) are mechanically coupled to each other. According to the invention the mechanical coupling between the impeller (9) and the drive wheel (3) of the device (1) can be achieved by means of at least one radially movable vane (13) of the impeller (9) which is configured as both an impeller pivoting element and a locking element.

The device essentially includes a drive unit (6) drivingly connected with the crankshaft and also of a driven unit (7) rotationally fixed to the camshaft (3). The drive unit (6) is in force-transfer connection with the driven unit (7) through at least two pressure chambers (12, 13), which are formed within the device (1) and which can be charged with a pressurized medium, wherein the pressurized medium is fed from one of the radial bearings (4) of the camshaft (3) and supplied to the pressure chambers (12, 13) of the device via first and second radial bore holes (14, 15) and via first and second axial channels (16, 17) in the camshaft (3), and also via first and second axial channels (19, 20) and via first and second radial bore holes (21, 22) into the driven unit (7).     摘要: In an internal combustion engine with two camshafts arranged next to one another and each mounted in a radial bearing in the cylinder head and hydraulic device for rotary angle adjustment of each camshaft with respect to a crankshaft. The supply and discharge of hydraulic pressure medium to and from the devices are controlled separately in each case by an electromagnetic hydraulic valve comprised of an electromagnet and of a valve housing capable of being plugged into a valve receptacle. Each valve housing on its circumference has a plurality of annular grooves with a plurality of radial orifices and on its free end face has a further orifice, via which the hydraulic valves are fluidically connected to the radial bearings of the camshafts and to a pressure connection and to a tank connection. Valve receptacles are passage bores which are fluidically connected via horizontal transverse ducts to the radial bearings of the camshafts and to the pressure connection. The separation of individual fluid streams is caused by an adapter sleeve plugged axially onto each valve housing and having a plurality of radial bores.

The device includes a drive unit that is connected in a driving manner to the crankshaft and an output unit which is connected in a torsion-proof manner to the camshaft. The lubricating oil of the internal combustion engine, which is fed from a radial bearing of the camshaft in the cylinder head, is used as a hydraulic pressurizing medium for the device. Thee vacuum pump includes a housing that has a flanged connection to the cylinder head cover, and a rotor that is disposed therein and is provided with a drive shaft via which the vacuum pump is driven and lubricated. The vacuum pump is arranged in an axial direction relative to the device, while the device is provided with additional coupling elements via which the drive shaft od the vacuum pump is connected in a driving manner to the device. The vacuum pump is lubricated by lubricating oil from the internal combustion engine, which is delivered to the device as the pressurizing medium.
