摘要： A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel is fabricated with a reduced number of mask processes and includes a thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate and a color filter array substrate. The TFT array substrate includes gate and data lines insulatively crossing each other to define a pixel area, a TFT provided at the crossing of the gate and data lines, a passivation film protecting the TFT, a pixel electrode partially overlapped by the TFT, a gate pad connected to the gate line, and a data pad connected to the data line. The gate line, the gate and data pads, and the pixel electrode include a transparent conductive material. A gate metal material is on the transparent conductive material where the TFT partially overlaps the pixel electrode. The passivation film over the gate and data pads is removed to expose the transparent conductive material included within the gate and data pads.

摘要： An array substrate of a liquid crystal display (LCD) device and a method for fabricating the same is disclosed, to decrease the unit cost and time of fabrication by decreasing the usage count of mask, which includes simultaneously forming a gate line, a gate electrode and a pixel electrode on a substrate; depositing a gate insulating layer and an active layer on an entire surface of the substrate including the gate line; patterning the gate insulating layer and the active layer to remain on the gate line and the gate electrode; selectively removing the active layer above the gate line; forming a data line perpendicular to the gate line and source/drain electrodes; and depositing a passivation layer on the entire surface of the substrate including the data line.

摘要： A method and an apparatus of fabricating a liquid crystal display device adapted to improve a lift-off efficiency are disclosed. The liquid crystal display device is also disclosed. The method includes forming a first thin film on a substrate; forming a photo-resist pattern on the first thin film; etching the first thin film using the photo-resist pattern as a mask; forming a second thin film on the substrate having the photo-resist pattern; forming a plurality of stripper infiltration paths; and removing the photo-resist pattern and the second thin film using a stripper within the stripper infiltration paths. The device includes two substrates facing each other; a liquid crystal layer; data lines and gate lines that cross each other to define pixel regions; thin film transistors; pixel electrodes connected to the thin film transistors; and an inorganic layer in each pixel region, wherein the inorganic layer includes a plurality of cracks.

摘要： A method for fabricating a liquid crystal display panel is provided. A thin film transistor array substrate and a color filter array substrate are formed. The thin film transistor array substrate includes a screen region having gate lines, data lines, thin film transistors, and pixel electrodes; a pad region having gate pads, an overetch prevention pattern formed overlapped with a gate insulating film in an outer portion of each gate pad, and data pads; data pad protection electrodes each on a respective data pad, and a protection film on an entire surface of the screen region and the pad region. The thin film transistor array substrate and the color filter array substrate are bonded together so that the pad region remains uncovered. Also, a portion of the protection film and the overetch prevention pattern of the pad region are etched to partially expose the gate pads and the data pad protection electrodes, and to form gate holes in the gate insulating film over corresponding gate pads.

The method includes forming a hard mask having an opening on an insulating substrate; forming a first trench having a first depth in the insulating substrate using the hard mask; coating, patterning and developing a first photoresist over an entire surface of the insulating substrate including the hard mask; and forming at least a second trench having a second depth in the insulating substrate using the hard mask, wherein the second depth is deeper than the first depth.

An apparatus for repairing a liquid crystal display panel according to the present invention includes: a liquid crystal display panel including a repair film formed on any one of a first substrate and a second substrate, which are facing to each other with a liquid crystal layer therebetween; and a laser irradiating device to irradiate a laser to the repair film to darken a specific area of the repair film, which is corresponded to an area where a bright point appears in the liquid crystal display panel.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device and a fabricating method thereof for simplifying a process are disclosed. In the method of fabricating the liquid crystal display device, a first conductive pattern group including a gate line and a gate electrode, a common line and a common electrode, a pixel electrode and a pad in a multiple conductive layer having a stepwise shape including a transparent conductive layer is formed on a substrate by a first mask process. An insulating film and a semiconductor layer including a plurality of contact holes are formed on the first mask pattern group by a second mask process. A second pattern group including a data line, a source electrode and a drain electrode is formed on the semiconductor layer and the semiconductor layer is patterned, and an active layer is exposed between the source electrode and the drain electrode by a third mask process.
