摘要: A control system for an internal combustion engine having a valve operating characteristic varying device which continuously changes a lift amount of at least one intake valve. Operation of a start switch, which instructs the start of the engine is detected. The engine is started after a predetermined delay time period has elapsed from the moment the operation of the start switch is detected. The valve operating characteristic varying device is operated during the predetermined delay time period, and a failure determination of the valve operating characteristic varying device is performed.

摘要: A control device for an alternating current motor includes: a target current generating unit which generates a current order value, based on a torque order, as a d-axis target current and a q-axis target current on dq coordinates; a current detection device which detects an alternating current supplied to each phase of a polyphase alternating current motor; a coordinate transforming unit which transforms the alternating current detected by the current detection device into a d-axis current and a q-axis current on the dq coordinates; and a vector control unit which carries out a current feedback control so that the d-axis current follows up the d-axis target current and the q-axis current follows up the q-axis target current. The vector control unit further includes: an operation switching unit which, depending on whether a back electromotive voltage of the alternating current motor is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, calculates one of a d-axis deviation and a q-axis deviation from the deviation between the d-axis target current and the d-axis current and the other one of the d-axis deviation and the q-axis deviation from the deviation between the q-axis target current and the q-axis current; and an integration controlling unit which outputs a d-axis integration voltage order value proportional to an integral value of the d-axis deviation and a q-axis integration voltage order value proportional to an integral value of the q-axis deviation. An alternating current supplied to each phase of the alternating current motor is controlled based on an output of the integration controlling unit.

摘要: A power supply control device for an electric vehicle capable of reducing the power consumption in a battery monitor assembly adapted for monitoring a residual electric charge in a main battery 4. In response to an operation which causes increasing or decreasing the residual charge in the main battery 4, a start-up unit 200 produces a start-up demand pulse P3. Upon receiving the start-up demand pulse P3, a power supply controller circuit 60 closes a switch 59 to allow the power from a sub battery 5 to be supplied the battery monitor assembly 100. When the battery monitor assembly 100 is activated, its power supply maintaining means 102 delivers a self-hold signal S4 to maintain the switch 59 being closed. The battery monitor assembly 100 keeps monitoring the residual charge in the main battery 4 while it is energized by the sub battery 5.
