    摘要: An image judgment device stores element characteristic information for each element of a characteristic part of a sample object and first and second positional information defining a position of each element, selects the first or the second positional information, and acquires image characteristic information for a partial image in an image frame considered as an element specified by the first positional information based on a first axis. The image judgment device also extracts image characteristic information for a partial image in an image frame considered as an element specified by the second positional information based on a second axis (which is acquired by rotating the first axis), specifies element characteristic information for an element corresponding to a position of the partial image, and judges whether the characteristic part appears in the image frame with use of the specified element characteristic information and the extracted image characteristic information.

    摘要: An image processing unit decodes coded data that have been coded and synthesizes the decoded moving image with graphics data. In a case where only graphics data are to be displayed, a bypass unit outputs the graphics data to a display device without use of an image processing unit. A control unit performs control of the supplying of a power supply voltage and a clock to a region containing the image processing unit and performs control of the bypass unit. If processing at the image processing unit is unnecessary, the supply of a power supply voltage or the supply of a clock to the region containing the image processing unit is stopped so as to stop the region and enable reduction of wasteful power consumption.

The device includes a decoding unit (100) decoding variable length codes encoded by the plurality of coding systems, a stream input unit (10) inputting the variable length codes, and an interface (30) interfacing the decoding unit with the stream input unit. The stream input unit and the interface are shared in the plurality of coding systems. The necessity of providing stream input units for every coding systems is removed, thereby an increase in circuit area can be suppressed. Since the interface connects the stream input unit and the decoding unit, application of this invention to other coding systems or to other combinations of coding systems is easily realized.
