    摘要: A low insertion force connector with a downsized and simple structure and high reliability is provided, wherein coupled connectors are capable of sufficiently moving in the uncoupling direction. The low insertion force connector includes: a first connector having a first cam-projection, a frame with a cam-opening to slidably accommodate the first connector in the coupling direction, a second connector with a coupling portion and a cam-engaging slit to be couples with the first connector in the frame, and a slider attached to the second connector, provided with a second cam-projection which engages both of the cam-opening and the cam-engaging slit, and provided with a cam groove consisting of a connector coupling cam groove and a shift-allowing cam groove continuing to the connector coupling cam groove. Thus, a low insertion force connector with a downsized and simple structure and high reliability can be realized.

In a form, the slider is provided at the bottom with a pair of engagement grooves, and the guide slit has at both sides guide rails engageable in the engagement grooves. The slider is provided on one side wall with a slider support consisting of an engagement portion and a support portion projecting from the engagement portion, and the connector housing is provided on a wall thereof with a guide slit across which the engagement portion extends to have the support portion contacting the wall of the connector housing. Displacement of the slider used for coupling the connectors and enlargement of connectors can be prevented.

    摘要: A crimping apparatus includes an anvil for supporting a metal terminal including a base plate portion for mounting an electric wire thereon and a pair of crimping piece portions extending upwardly respectively from opposite side edges of the base plate portion and a crimper which includes a groove portion being opposed to a supporting portion of the anvil. An inner surface of the groove portion of the anvil and a terminal support face of the supporting portion of the crimper cooperate to press the crimping piece portions for crimping the crimping piece portions to the electric wire mounted on the metal terminal. A width of the groove portion of the crimper is not more than 1.0 mm. The terminal support surface of the anvil is formed into a concavely curved surface in which a depth of the concavely curved surface is not smaller than 0.06 mm and is not larger than 0.17 mm in a cross-section of the anvil perpendicular to an axis direction of the electric wire.

    摘要: The present invention is to provide a terminal for a flat circuitry. The terminal assuredly crimps a conductor of the flat circuitry and provides an improved electric connection. An electric connection portion of a crimping terminal includes a bottom wall for placing a flat conductor of a FFC and a pair of conductor crimping pieces. The conductor crimping pieces are upstanding at both ends of the bottom wall for crimping the conductor. A plurality of serrations are disposed outside ends of the conductor placed on the bottom wall of the electric connection portion and arranged in series with a distance between the serrations. The conductor crimping pieces start to deform at the serrations, or the best deforming position, for crimping the conductor.
