    摘要: An adaptor for liquid dispensing of precisely controlled amounts through an outlet of a liquid filled syringe includes a valve shaft extended through an inlet of the syringe, along the syringe and seated against a valve seat assembly at the outlet of the syringe. The valve seat assembly and a cylindrical casing cooperatively mount the syringe to a housing assembly. A spring within the housing assembly biases the valve shaft to a normally closed position against the valve seat assembly. By pressurizing the liquid in the syringe, timer actuation of a solenoid within the housing assembly retracts the valve shaft away from the valve seat assembly to an open position to force the pressurized liquid through the outlet and out of the syringe.

    摘要: A liquid cartridge storage case is used in connection with a plunger valve liquid dispenser to provide simplified and accurate control of liquid dispensing from a commercially available liquid cartridge, along with reduced downtime. The storage case includes a lower body section to which a commercially available liquid cartridge threadably mounts. Threading of the cartridge to the lower body section pierces a bottom membrane of the cartridge to allow liquid from the cartridge to flow into an internal passage in the lower body section. The internal passage communicates with a passageway of the dispenser through which liquid flow is controlled, via the plunger valve, for dispensing out of a nozzle at one end thereof. Pressurized air supplied from an external source to the inside of the case causes a cartridge wall opposite the pierced membrane to move toward the pierced membrane, thereby forcing liquid under pressure from the cartridge and into the dispenser. An additional liquid cartridge storage case may be connected to the liquid dispenser in parallel, thereby to allow dispensing from a liquid cartridge in one of the storage cases while the spent liquid cartridge of the other case is being replaced.

A valve stem (26) is mounted for reciprocating movement in the valve body between open and closed positions and includes a tapered end (28). A valve seat (30) is positioned adjacent the end of the valve stem (26) and includes a through passage (36) communicating with an outlet passage (40) of the valve body. The end of the valve stem (26) extends into the through passage (36) in the closed position. A positioner device (20) may carry the valve (12) and can move the valve (12) in multiple directions relative to a substrate (18) during a jetting operation. The amount of material jetted from the outlet passage (40) during a stroke of the valve stem (26) can be less than about 25% of the total combined volumes of the through passage (36) and the outlet passage (40).
