    摘要: A cable holding structure of this invention comprises a groove in which a bending portion of a flexible flat cable is to be inserted, a first opening portion through which the flexible cable extending in the X direction as one direction from the bending portion passes and a second opening portion through which the flexible cable extending in the Y direction as the other direction from the bending portion passes, the first and second opening portions being contained in the groove, and a stopper provided on the first opening portion, which contacts a side edge of the flexible cable extending in the Y direction as the other direction of the bending portion so as to prevent the bending portion from slipping out in the X direction as one direction. Consequently, this prevents a residual stress from being generated in the flexible flat cable thereby improving the service life of the flexible flat cable.

    摘要: An electrical connecting device provided between a steering wheel and a steering column to establish an electric connection therebetween. The connecting device comprises a stationary body fixedly secured to the steering column, a rotatable body provided rotatably and placed to define a circular space with respect to the stationary body, a flexible flat cable located in the circular space, one end of which is fixedly secured to the rotatable body and the other end of which is fixedly secured to the stationary body so that the flat cable makes an electrical communication between the rotatable body and the stationary body, and a semi-fluid material adhered to a bottom surface of the stationary body which stands in opposed relation to both ends of the flat cable in its width direction. The flat cable is made to move to follow rotations of the rotatable body in forward or reverse direction. A groove-like pool section is made in the semi-fluid material adhered inner surface in radial direction of the rotatable body. This pool section accommodates the semi-fluid material to satisfy the requirements for improvement of controllability of a steering wheel and suppression of occurrence of noises.

Accordingly, it is possible to prevent a projection generated by contacts with other parts from interfering a flexible flat cable and to prevent a generation of abnormal noise.

    摘要: A relay device includes a first rotor having an inner cylinder, a second rotor having an outer cylinder, a flexible flat cable wound spirally in an annular space defined between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder and a C-shaped moving member arranged so as to move along the annular space. The C-shaped moving member consists of an inner horizontal rib, an outer horizontal rib, an upper vertical rib and a lower vertical rib. When the flexible flat cable is rewound from the inner cylinder by the relative rotation between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder, the contact area of the moving member with the cable can be reduced because the inner horizontal rib is in the form of a plate material projecting from the inner peripheral face of the moving member horizontally. Thus, it is possible to reduce the frictional force of the moving member on the cable and to prevent the cable from buckling.

    摘要: An examining structure for a circuit protective element comprises a plurality of conductive plates 3 of a conductive circuit 2 which is formed in a pattern on a circuit board 1, a pair of lead terminals 8 provided in the circuit protective element and respectively connected to the conductive plates 3, a test probe 4 for supplying a large current to the lead terminals 8 in order to examine a normal operation of the circuit protective element, and a test pad 6 soldered to the conductive plate 3 which is connected to the lead terminal, the test pad being adapted to be in contact with the test probe, thereby to constitute a probe contact part 5 having a thickness larger than the conductive plate. The test pad is smaller in size than the surface of the conductive plate and positioned near the lead terminal. The test pad is composed of a plurality of contact members having the same shape so as to keep a contact area with the test probe uniformly. The contact members are arranged uniformly. The contact members are solders arranged on one face of the conductive plate and directly attached to and projecting from the conductive plate. The solders may be formed at an opening of a through hole formed in the conductive plate by filling it in the opening.

When the control part determines that a predetermined automatic stop condition has been satisfied, the control part switches from a control for maintaining the temperature of the sensor element at an activating temperature to a control in a stop state for reducing at least one of voltage and current supplied to the heating part so as to set a temperature of the base part to a value equal to or lower than a shape holding temperature of the resin. Also disclosed is a sensor control method for holding a temperature of a sensor element to an activating temperature.
