    摘要: The present invention relates to a bearing device for supporting a pinion shaft so as to freely rotate with respect to a case. The bearing device comprises a first tilt-contact rolling bearing provided on the connecting-flange-side outer peripheral surface of the pinion shaft and a second tilt-contact rolling bearing formed from an angular ball bearing provided on the pinion-gear-side outer peripheral surface of the pinion shaft, wherein lines of action of the first and second tilt-contact rolling bearings intersect with one another on an outer diameter side, the connecting-flange-side end portion of the first tilt-contact rolling bearing and the pinion-gear-side end portion of the second tilt-contact rolling bearing are respectively sealed with seal members, a sealed space between the seal members is infilled with grease, and the connecting flange is fastened in the pinion-gear direction to thereby preload the first and second tilt-contact rolling bearings.

    摘要: A ball bearing with double raceway rotatably supports a pinion shaft having a pinion gear on its one end. This ball bearing with double raceway is provided with: an outer ring member having a large-diameter raceway surface and a small-diameter raceway surface; an inner ring member having a large-diameter raceway surface and a small-diameter raceway surface that correspond to the large-diameter raceway surface and the small-diameter raceway surface of the outer ring member; a large-diameter-side row of balls that are interpolated between the two large-diameter raceway surfaces; a small-diameter-side row of balls that are interpolated between the two small-diameter raceway surfaces; a large-diameter-side cage that holds the large-diameter-side row of balls; and a small-diameter-side cage that holds the small-diameter-side row of balls. In this ball bearing with double raceway, the row of balls on the anti-pinion gear side of the two rows of balls is subjected to a load prior to the row of balls on the pinion gear side.

    摘要: There is provided a clutch release bearing in which a water resistance is enhanced. At a side axially opposite from one side where an outer ring rib of a clutch release bearing is formed, there is provided a first seal member externally fitted to an outer ring to be fixed thereto. A seal lip disposed in sliding contact with an outside-diameter surface of an inner ring is formed at a radially-inward distal end of the first seal member. An annular guide is provided at a bearing-outward side of the first seal member, and an axial lip which extends toward the outside of the bearing and extends to be disposed radially outwardly of the guide is formed at a bearing-outward side face of the first seal member. The axial lip is disposed in non-contact, close relation to the guide to form a labyrinth. A radially outwardly-open groove is formed in a joint portion of the axial lip joined to the first seal member.
