    摘要: A head suspension assembly has a flexure partly fixed to a head suspension. The flexure is made of a single plate material. The flexure defines at least a thin portion and a thick portion. The thin portion is received on the head suspension for supporting a head slider. The thin portion has a first thickness. The thick portion is formed at a position outside the contour of the head suspension. The thick portion has a second thickness larger than the first thickness. The thick portion exhibits a sufficient rigidity. The thick portion can thus be aligned with a receiving member in a facilitated manner. Moreover, the thin portion of the flexure has the first thickness smaller than the second thickness. The thin portion has a reduced rigidity. A reduced rigidity allows the thin portion or head slider to enjoy a responsive change in the attitude.

The second flexible printed wiring board is received in the depression, the second terminal can accurately be positioned on the first terminal in a facilitated manner.

    摘要: A recording medium drive such as a hard disk drive includes a ramp member. The ramp member receives the tip end of a head actuator. A head slider is thus kept at a position spaced from the recording medium even when the recording medium stands still. A rectifier plate is formed on the ramp member and opposed to the surface of the recording medium at a distance. The rectifier plate serves to sufficiently suppress turbulence of airflow generated along the surface of the rotating recording medium. The suppression of the turbulence in this manner leads to prevention of oscillation of the head slider. The head slider can thus be positioned right at a target point at a higher accuracy. The recording medium drive of the type is capable of greatly contributing to a higher recording density.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine ignition device has a resin layer in a clearance between an insulator and a winding contained in the insulator. The ignition device has a cylindrical insulator and a resin layer. The insulator has an opening portion at one end and a bottom portion at the other end. The insulator contains one of a primary winding and a secondary winding. The resin layer is formed by charging a resin in the clearance between the insulator and one of the windings. The diameter of the inner periphery of the insulator gradually increases from the opening portion to the bottom portion. When the resin layer shrinks from the opening portion toward the bottom portion of the insulator, the resin layer can shrink without getting snagged on the inner periphery of the insulator.
