摘要: A semiconductor device for a switching power supply includes first and second external terminals, ON and OFF timing generation circuits, and a drive pulse generation circuit. To the first and second external terminals, a feedback voltage and a voltage induced in an auxiliary winding are input, respectively. The ON and OFF timing generation circuits respectively generate timing signals turning on and off a switching element based on the voltages. The drive pulse generation circuit generates a pulse signal based on these signals. The ON timing generation circuit includes: a bottom detection circuit detecting a lowest point of the voltage of the second external terminal; and a timer circuit, and operates in a PWM mode and a quasi-resonant mode in response to a timing of an output of the timer circuit being before a timing of an output of the bottom detection circuit and the reverse case, respectively.

摘要: A switching power supply device includes a voltage conversion transformer, a primary-side control semiconductor device, a rectification and smoothing circuit, an output voltage detection circuit, a failure detection circuit, and a switch. The primary-side control semiconductor device generates a driving signal which controls a switching element connected to a primary winding of the transformer. The rectification and smoothing circuit is connected to a secondary winding of the transformer. The output voltage detection circuit detects a secondary-side output voltage of the transformer and transmits a feedback signal corresponding to the output voltage to the primary-side control semiconductor device through an insulated signal transmitter. The failure detection circuit detects a failure on a secondary side of the transformer. The switch cuts off a current flowing to the insulated signal transmitter if the failure detection circuit detects a failure.

摘要: A resonance voltage attenuation detection circuit detects attenuation of a resonance voltage of a winding of a transformer. The resonance voltage attenuation detection circuit includes a first voltage comparator circuit and a time-out circuit. The first voltage comparator circuit compares a voltage of the winding with a predetermined first voltage. The time-out circuit performs clocking operation in accordance with an output of the first voltage comparator circuit. The time-out circuit outputs an attenuation detection signal when the time-out circuit has clocked a preset period which is shorter than a time required for a peak voltage of the winding to be attenuated from the first voltage to a predetermined second voltage lower than the first voltage.

摘要: When a seat heater and a planar electric heater on a surface of an interior member are used in parallel, the seat heater and the planar electric heater cannot be heated sufficiently due to a limitation on an electric capacity of a vehicle, and in particular, in a vehicle having good engine efficiency, heating of an interior of a passenger compartment by air conditioning utilizing hot air generated by heat expelled from an engine is not sufficient, whereby there sometimes occurs a situation where occupants feel cold. A heating device 2 is provided in a side door panel 1 of a vehicle and a seat heater is made to be heated mainly at an initial stage of heating after an occupant gets in the vehicle, whereas the heating device 2 is made to be heated after a predetermined period of time elapses, whereby the body of the occupant can be warmed quickly and efficiently without making the occupant feel cold physically.

摘要: An insulated DC power supply includes a voltage transformer, a switching device and a primary-side regulating circuit. The voltage transformer includes primary and secondary windings and an auxiliary winding. The switching device causes current to flow intermittently through the primary winding. The primary-side regulating circuit receives a voltage proportional to a current flowing through the primary winding of the transformer, and a voltage proportional to a voltage induced in the auxiliary winding of the transformer to generate and output a drive pulse for turning on or off the switching device. The primary-side regulating circuit includes an ON/OFF signal generator circuit and first and second timer circuits. The switching device is turned off upon expiration of the first timer circuit, and the ON/OFF signal generator circuit does not generate a signal for turn-on of the switching device when the second timer circuit expires.

摘要: An air conditioning seat device includes an air blower, and a dehumidifier for dehumidifying the air sent from the air blower owing to adsorption, and blows out the dehumidified air to holes provided on a skin of a seat through an air duct. In this makeup, the sweat on the body surface and in the clothes is rapidly vaporized, causing a large amount of vaporization heat loss. Accordingly, the human body feels coolness, and steaminess on the skin is suppressed owing to the sweat vaporization.
