摘要: A monitoring device includes a vibration-driven energy harvesting element as a vibration-driven energy harvesting unit that performs power generation in response to a sound or a vibration being occurred by a monitoring target and having a predetermined frequency, and a notification unit that notifies a state change of the monitoring target based on a magnitude relationship between a predetermined threshold value and a voltage value of the power generation by the vibration-driven energy harvesting element. The notification unit is configured to notify the state change when the vibration-driven energy harvesting element performs the power generation. Therefore, the vibration-driven energy harvesting element, which functions as a sensor unit, requires no power supply.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a direct current (DC) transformer error detection apparatus for a pulsating harmonic signal, including a DC and pulsating harmonic current output module and an external detected input module, where the DC and pulsating harmonic current output module outputs a DC and a DC superimposed pulsating harmonic current to an internal sampling circuit and a self-calibrated standard resistor array; and the internal sampling circuit converts the input DC and the input DC superimposed pulsating harmonic current into a voltage signal, and sends the voltage signal to an analog-to-digital (AD) sampling and measurement component through a front-end conditioning circuit and a detected input channel. The DC transformer error detection apparatus can complete self-calibration for measurement of the DC and the pulsating harmonic signal on a test site.

摘要: A distribution transformer system includes a distribution transformer and a distribution transformer monitoring device (DTM). The DTM includes an optical sensor operable to generate an output signal (e.g., an output voltage) in response to incident light, a communication interface, non-transitory memory storing processor-executable instructions, and a processor operably coupled to the optical sensor, the communication interface, and the memory. The processor is operable in accordance with the processor-executable instructions to, among other things, determine whether the output signal generated by the optical sensor substantially corresponds to one of multiple stored data signatures representing light producing events (such as arcing, fire, or the presence of unexpected ambient light) and, when such criterion is met, communicate an alert to a remote computing device via the communication interface. The distribution transformer may be pad-mountable, aerially mountable (e.g., mountable to a utility pole), or cabinet mountable, as applicable.

摘要: A system for detecting an object approaching and/or impacting electrical equipment is disclosed. The system includes a housing for the electrical equipment and acoustic sensor(s) for measuring a sound pressure of the object approaching the housing, the acoustic sensor(s) disposed at a location at which the acoustic sensor(s) is not in contact with the housing. The system further includes vibration sensor(s) for measuring an acceleration of a surface of the housing caused by the object striking the housing, the vibration sensor(s) disposed at a location at which the vibration sensor(s) is in contact with the housing, and a computer readable storage medium having thereon machine-readable instructions that when executed determine the approach of the object for impact on the housing and/or the impact of the object to the housing.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method and monitoring device, for monitoring N number of transformer bushings operating in substantially the same environment. N being any number more than 1. The method comprises estimating an absolute value for the capacitances of each of the bushings, the absolute values for the capacitances being denoted Cx, and estimating an absolute value for the loss factor or the power factor of each of the bushings, the absolute values for the loss factors or the power factors being denoted Fx. X is a number representing which bushing the value is associated to and X larger than 1. The method further comprises calculating Δ-values for all C values and Δ-values for all F values, according to:
ΔCX=CX−CX+1, for all values up to, and including, ΔCN−1,
ΔCN=CN−C1, for ΔCN,
ΔFX=FX−FX+1, for all values up to, and including, ΔFN−1,
ΔFN=FN−F1, for ΔFN,
and determining whether the Δ-values are within predefined ranges.-

摘要: A high current source (200) for a test system for testing an electric power device (30) comprises a first plurality of first switchable half-bridges (212) and a second plurality of second switchable half-bridges (222), which are connected in parallel and by means of which a test current is redundantly distributed. A control device (280) is designed to control the first and second half-bridges (212, 222) on the basis of an input signal in such a way that an output signal for the test current, which corresponds to the input signal, is applied across a bridge branch (230) between the first switchable half-bridges (212) and the second switchable half-bridges (222).

摘要: A system includes a monitoring module configured to: receive a first indication related to a three-phase input of a three-phase AC electrical asset; receive a second indication related to a three-phase output of the three-phase AC electrical asset; determine performance metrics for the three-phase AC electrical asset based on the first indication and the second indication; determine error metrics by comparing each determined performance metrics to a pre-determined estimated performance metric; compare each of the error metrics to one of a plurality of pre-determined thresholds, the thresholds being determined when the three-phase AC electrical asset is in a healthy condition; and determine whether a developing fault condition exists in the three-phase AC electrical asset based on the comparison.
