A body-insertable device system according to the present invention includes a capsule endoscope 1 introduced into a subject and a permanent magnet 3. An imaging unit of the capsule endoscope 1 for taking an image inside the subject is fixed in a casing. The capsule endoscope 1 includes a drive unit for changing at least one of the position and posture of the casing in the liquid 2a which is also introduced in the subject 100. The permanent magnet 3 controls the operation of the drive unit for changing at least one of the position and posture of the casing in the liquid 2a.

    摘要: A capsule endoscope includes a capsule casing and interior components housed therein whose total specific gravity is set such that the capsule casing floats in liquid introduced into a subject. The capsule endoscope also includes a gravity center position setting unit that sets a position of center of gravity of the capsule casing at a decentered position so that the capsule casing is stabilized in the liquid introduced into the subject without rotating except for rotation about an axis in a direction of the center of gravity; and an imager that takes an in-vivo image in a body cavity with an imaging field being set so that a surface of the liquid is out of view when the capsule casing floats in the liquid introduced into the subject in a stabilized posture.

    摘要: An image display apparatus includes: a storage unit storing in-vivo image data and information associated with the in-vivo image data and related to a position of a capsule endoscope in a subject; an image processing unit performing image processing on the in-vivo image data stored in the storage unit; a display unit displaying an in-vivo image based on the in-vivo image data image-processed in the image processing unit; a position estimating unit estimating an intra-subject position in which an in-vivo image is captured, based on the position-related information; a control unit performing image processing in the image processing unit and position estimation processing in the position estimating unit in parallel; and a reporting unit reporting information indicating that a radiogram interpretation is possible, when image processing in the image processing unit for all the in-vivo image data is completed while processing in the position estimating unit is not completed.

    摘要: An image display system has a capsule endoscope for capturing an in-vivo image of a subject, a receiving device for receiving the in-vivo image from the capsule endoscope, and an image display apparatus for displaying a group of in-vivo images of the subject. The capsule endoscope has an imaging unit having a black region which optical rays do not reach in an effective pixel region contributing to image capture. By the imaging unit, an in-vivo image including the signal level of the black region is detected. The receiving device receives an image signal of the in-vivo image. The image display apparatus obtains an in-vivo image group from the receiving device. The image display apparatus does not display an in-vivo image in the in-vivo image group determined as an image influenced by fluctuations in the power source voltage but displays a stable in-vivo image which is not influenced by fluctuations in the power source voltage.
