摘要： A camera has a slide case for covering a taking lens of the camera. The slide case is slidably attached to a camera body and is set at an unused position, a photographing position, a battery exchange position and a cartridge exchange position. When the slide case is set at the cartridge exchange position, a cartridge lid of a cartridge chamber is openable so that a film cartridge is exchangeable. When the slid case is set at the unused position, the photographing position or the battery exchange position, the slide case covers at least a part of the cartridge lid so that it is impossible to open the cartridge lid. A lock mechanism of the cartridge lid is simplified so that the size of the camera may be reduced. A battery chamber for containing a battery is disposed above an exposure aperture and close thereto so that the height of the camera may be lowered.

摘要： A device for feeding a film from a patrone in a camera, in which the film is fed by an endless caterpillar belt having pawls for engaging with film perforations. The caterpillar belt is positioned in a camera so as to match the film perforations between two film guides of the camera and is extended parallel to the film feeding direction. The caterpillar belt is driven by a set of a driving pulley and a driven pulley. The section of the pawls, taken along the film plane, is shaped to have a circular arc contour so as to contact only with the vicinity of the central portion of each film perforation.

摘要： A liquid crystal display unit has a transmissive liquid crystal plate having a number of pixels arranged on a two-dimensional basis, on which an image is formed, and a light source unit emitting beams of light of a plurality of luminescent colors for irradiating said liquid crystal plate from back. An interface circuit receives an image signal representative of a color image to sequentially form on said liquid crystal plate a plurality of separation images in which the color image is separated in association with the plurality of luminescent colors of said light source unit. The interface circuit causes said light source unit to flash with a luminescent color associated with a separation image formed on said liquid crystal plate in synchronism with a sequential formation of the separation images onto said liquid crystal plate. Beams of light emanated from the light source unit and transmitted through the liquid crystal plate reproduce an image.

摘要： Standard film packages and telephoto-type film packages and panoramic film packages are produced using the same standardized package bodies which are adapted to photograph full-size frames on 35-mm film. In the factory, each package body is loaded with a photographic film, and indicia of the type of the film package to be produced are provided on the photographic film or a cassette for containing the photographic film, as well as on the film package. When printing a photographic film having been loaded into such a standard film package, substantially the whole area of the full-size frame is printed to make a standard print, whereas printing of photographic films that have been loaded into the telephoto-type film package and the panoramic-type film package is performed such that only a partial area of the full-size frame is printed at different print magnifications which are larger than that used for standard prints. The fields of view in the viewfinders of the telephoto-type film package and the panoramic film package are changed from that of the standard film package, so as to correspond to the respective areas to be printed for making telephoto prints and panoramic prints.

摘要： A photographic camera is provided with a magazine receiving chamber formed in the camera body and shaped to permit insertion of a film magazine having a film leader into the chamber only in one axial direction of the magazine, and inner and outer guide member for guiding the film leader in between the film aperture and a film pressure plate as the magazine is inserted into the chamber. The film pressure plate is resiliently mounted on the camera body to be movable toward and away from the film aperture. A pressure plate pushing member is mounted on the back lid of the camera body to push the pressure plate toward the film aperture when the back lid is closed. When the back lid is opened, the pressure plate returns to its rest position in which its inner surface is flush with the inner surface of the outer guide member and provides a planar guiding surface. Engaging pins of film feeding means are retracted inwardly from the outer surface of the inner guide member so as not to snag the longitudinal edge of the film leader when it is guided in between the pressure plate and the film aperture. When the film leader is pushed toward the film aperture by the pressure plate upon closure of the back lid, the engaging pins brought into engagement with the perforations of the film leader. The upper edge of the inner guide member is chamfered so that the film leader can be smoothly stretched therealong as the magazine is inserted into the chamber.

During advancement, an encoded disk rotates with a driven roller in contact with the film. A photo-interrupter generates an ENC pulse each time the encode disk rotates through a predetermined angle, and supplies it to a microcomputer. Each time the microcomputer receives an ENC pulse, it measures a pulse period between a previously generated ENC pulse and presently generated ENC pulse. In accordance with the measured pulse period, a predicated pulse period between the presently generated ENC pulse and a next ENC pulse is calculated. N timings are obtained by dividing the predicted pulse period to record N-bits of data on the film during the predicted period by driving a recording head N times.
