    摘要: A polyimide semipermeable membrane is prepared by the process comprising the steps of:preparing a solution of a polyimide material consisting essentially of at least one aromatic polyimide comprising at least 90 molar % of at least one recurring unit of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R represents a divalent aromatic radical, in a solvent consisting of at least one phenol compound in the state of a liquid or melt;forming a thin layer of the polyimide solution, and;coagulating the thin layer of the polyimide solution by bringing the thin layer into contact with a coagulating liquid to form a semipermeable membrane.

    摘要: An aromatic imide polymer hollow filament having an excellent gas separating property is produced by a process comprising the steps of:(1) dissolving an aromatic imide copolymer comprising (A) 20 to 85 molar % of recurring units of the formula (I): ##STR1## (B) 10 to 35 molar % of recurring units of the formula (II): ##STR2## and (C) 5 to 55 molar % of recurring units of the formula (III): ##STR3## wherein R represents a divalent radical of the formula (IV) or (V): ##STR4## and ##STR5## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 respectively represent, a hydrogen atom, alkoxyl radical having 1 to 3 carbon atoms or alkyl radical having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, in a solvent consisting essentially of at least one phenolic compound to provide a spinning dope solution;(2) extruding the dope solution through a spinneret having at least one hollow filament spinning orifice, to provide at least one hollow filamentary stream of the dope solution, and(3) introducing the dope solution hollow stream into a coagulating bath comprising at least one polar solvent which is compatible with the phenolic compound but not capable of dissolving the aromatic imide copolymer, to solidify the hollow stream into a hollow filament.

    摘要: A porous membrane of an aromatic polyimide having an enhanced permeability of a gas or liquid is produced by a process comprising the steps of(1) preparing a dope solution of 3 to 30% by weight of an aromatic polyimide in a mixed solvent of (A) 100 parts by weight of a base solvent capable of dissolving 5% by weight or more of the polymeric acid and of evaporating at 30.degree. C. to 400.degree. C. and (B) 5 to 150 parts by weight of an additional liquid not capable of dissolving 3% by weight or more of the polyamic acid and capable of evaporating at a smaller evaporating rate than that of the base solvent at the above-mentioned evaporating temperature;(2) forming a thin layer of the dope solution at 0.degree. C. to 120.degree. C.; and(3) heating the dope solution layer at 30.degree. C. to 400.degree. C. so as to evaporate off the mixed solvent and to convert the polyamic acid to the corresponding polyimide.

    摘要: An aromatic polyimide composite membrane having a satisfactory gas-permeating property and an excellent gas-separating property comprises an aromatic polyimide porous membrane substrate and at least one coating layer which has been prepared (A) by coating at least one surface of the substrate with a dilute dope solution containing 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a soluble aromatic polyimide and/or polyamic acid dissolved in a solvent which consists essentially of 100 parts by weight of a base component incapable of dissolving therein the substrate in an amount of 3% by weight or more and 0 to 15 parts by weight of an additional component capable of dissolving therein the 5% by weight or more of the aromatic polymeric material and compatible with the base component; and (B) by gradually evaporating the solvent from the coated dilute dope solution layer.

    摘要: Aromatic polyimide hollow fibers having an enhanced mechanical strength are produced by a process comprising the steps of: preparing a spinning dope solution of at least one aromatic polyimide having 90 molar % or more of a recurring unit of the formula (I). ##STR1## wherein R is a divalent aromatic radical, in a phenolic solvent; converting the dope solution into at least one filamentary stream thereof; and introducing the filamentary dope solution stream into a coagulating liquid having a coagulating rate coefficient of 1.5 microns/sec for the dope solution, to provide rigid hollow filaments.
