    摘要: A pulse compressing apparatus for use in a radar system receives an input signal data stream which has been received by the radar system and which corresponds to a transmitted long pulse. A weight coefficient generator generates the same number of weight coefficients as the number of input signal values in the input signal data stream. The same number of arithmetic units is provided and the weight coefficients are sequentially transferred to each arithmetic means where they are processed with the input signal values. The results of the processing from the arithmetic units are added together to produce a compressed pulse output.

    摘要: A moving target indication radar is disclosed in which the zero-Doppler-speed components of the radar return signal are eliminated by correlation processing in the azimuthal direction. In some cases, a similar correlation processing is concurrently performed in the range direction. The moving target indication radar has both a radar signal analog processing portion and a radar signal digital processing portion. The received pulse returns are processed by quadrature phase detectors to provide outputs which are in phase and quadrature phase analog data signals representing real and imaginary parts of the Doppler frequency data. These signals are converted to corresponding digital words which are then divided into a plurality of digital Doppler frequency components by a discrete Fourier transform circuit. A buffer memory is connected to store the outputs of the discrete Fourier transform circuit. An amplitude calculator selectively receives the outputs of the buffer memory and computes the root-mean-square value for each output of the discrete Fourier transform circuit stored in the buffer memory. A second buffer memory is connected to store the outputs of the amplitude calculator, and a correlation processing circuit averages the outputs of the second buffer memory which represent the data of a plurality of every n-th one of the unit azimuthal regions and subtracts the average output from the data for the center of the plurality of unit regions.

    摘要: A radar system includes N Doppler filters (N is an integer larger than 1), N CFAR (Constant False Alarm Rate) processing means, a video selector, automatic target detecting means, a video integrator, and a D/A converter. The N CFAR processing means are respectively connected to output terminals of the Doppler filters and automatically adapt amplitude distribution characteristics of a signal, such as clutter and receiver noise, and convert the signal into a signal having the same amplitude distribution characteristics as the receiver noise and suppressing the converted signal. The video selector is connected to output terminals of the N CFAR processing means and selects an output signal from any one thereof in units of radar range bins and synthesizes an N channel signals into a single channel signal. The automatic target detecting means is connected to an output terminal of the video selector. The video integrator is connected to an output terminal of the video selector and generates a signal at each transmission pulse by interpolating a single Doppler filter output signal for each M (.gtoreq.N) transmission pulses. The D/A converter is connected to the video integrator and generates an analog video signal.
