摘要: In a display apparatus (10), a lenticular lens (2) is detachable from or integrated with a frame (1). An insertion slot 3 for inserting an object to be displayed in the horizontal direction is formed between the frame (1) and lenticular lens (2). An arm (4) which is used to place the display apparatus to stand upright in a portrait or landscape position, and attachment grooves (5) that receive the arm (4) are formed on the back surface of the frame (1). The arm (4) and upper, lower, right, and left symmetrical attachment grooves (5) are formed to be able to place the display apparatus (10) in any of the upper, lower, right, and left directions when the object to be placed is set in a direction perpendicular to its insertion direction.

摘要: An imaging system includes an interchangeable lens and a camera body. The camera body includes a main body controller operable to transmit a reference signal for providing a reference of a driving start timing of the focus lens and delay time information indicating delay time with respect to the reference signal, to the interchangeable lens. The interchangeable lens includes a lens controller operable to control the focus lens to be driven at a timing obtained by delaying the timing provided by the reference signal by the delay time based on the reference signal and the delay time information received from the main body controller. The delay time is set so that, for example, an exposure timing of a predetermined area in the imaging element is substantially coincident with a stop period of the wobbling operation of the focus lens.

摘要: This invention is intended to perform a mounting/dismounting or replacement of a print head and ink tank mounted on the carriage without contaminating a print medium including a tray when performing an ink jet printing using the tray. For this purpose, the tray guide that supports the tray so that it can be fed is removably mounted to the printing apparatus. Whether this tray guide is mounted to the printing apparatus is detected by the tray guide sensor. According to a result of detection by this tray guide sensor, the control unit for controlling the driving of the carriage controls the position of the carriage in the main scan direction.

摘要: A reading unit provided with an optical system mounted on a recording apparatus to read a source document includes a housing having the optical system in it, a light transmitting portion arranged on the outer surface of the housing of the reading unit in order to guide the light outside the reading unit into the optical system of the reading unit, and a protection member to cover the outer side of the light transmitting portion for opening and closing such portion freely. With the structure thus arranged, the reading unit is protected from ink mist and other particles created by the recording apparatus that may contaminate the reading unit, hence preventing the accuracy of reading signals from being lowered when reading is performed by means of this reading unit.

摘要: A device for controlling the power supplied to windings of a stepping motor includes a pulse generator for splitting one step drive period of the motor into a plurality of sections, the number of sections and increasing or decreasing depending upon the drive frequency. The pulse generator, also sets the duty cycle of a pulse applied to the motor. The device also includes a stepping motor drive circuit for exciting each phase of the motor with a current determined by the duty cycle of pulse, and a duty changing device for changing the duty cycle for each of plural sections in one excitation phase of the stepping motor, wherein a current wave input into the motor can be maintained as a sinusoidal wave from low-speed rotation to high-speed rotation of the motor by changing the number of sections in excitation depending upon serial drive operations, thereby achieving motor control with less rotation inconsistencies and less noise.

摘要: A recording apparatus such as a printer for recording onto a recording medium by use of an ink sheet having an ink comprises: a thermal head to heat the ink sheet to thereby record onto the recording medium; a peeling device to peel off the ink sheet from the recording medium after the heating of the ink sheet by the thermal head on the basis of the recording information; and a controller to control the peeling condition of the peeling device on the basis of the recording information so as to initialize the peeling device at the time of the exchange of the ink sheet or the power-ON of the apparatus. With this apparatus, the high quality recording can be certainly performed by a desired color in response to the color information. This apparatus can mount either the uni-color ink ribbon or the two-color ink ribbon. The heating position of the thermal head is controlled so as to start the recording from the print start position in the first or second recordable area which is defined in accordance with the selected one of the uni-color and two-color ink ribbons.

摘要: The camera body includes a synchronizing signal generator that generates a synchronizing signal, a body controller that controls the camera body and generates a command to control the interchangeable lens. The body controller performs control to send the interchangeable lens a command to set the interchangeable lens to a synchronous mode in which operation of the interchangeable lens is controlled in synchronization with the synchronizing signal and a command to set the interchangeable lens to an asynchronous mode which is a mode other than the synchronous mode. The interchangeable lens includes a lens controller that controls the operation of the interchangeable lens. The lens controller controls the operation of the interchangeable lens in the synchronous mode or the asynchronous mode according to the command received from the camera body.
