摘要： The bioinstrumentation apparatus includes a light irradiation unit irradiating a measurement region with light, a light detection unit detecting diffused light from the measurement region, and a computing unit generating a reconstructed image for the interior of the measurement region. The computing unit calculates J coefficients wj set for every pixel of the reconstructed image and more than 0 and not more than 1 (where J is the number of pixels of the reconstructed image) and carries out successive approximation computation by the following iterative formula xj(k+1)=xj(k)+wjdj(k) (where k is an integer from 1 to N, N is the number of times of iterative computation, xj(k) is a pixel value of the jth pixel on the kth iterative computation, and dj(k) is an update amount of the jth pixel on the kth iterative computation) to generate the reconstructed image.

摘要： A resin composition comprising: a polyimide comprising a recurring unit represented by the following formula (1):  wherein Ar0 is an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 15 carbon atoms, and R1 is at least one group selected from the group consisting of the divalent residual group obtained by removing two amino groups from an aliphatic diamine having 2 to 30 carbon atoms and the divalent residual group obtained by removing two amino groups from an alicyclic diamine having 4 to 30 carbon atoms, and a polyarylate or polyester carbonate. This resin composition has excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability and transparency. Particularly, the resin composition having excellent transparency is advantageously used as a molded product such as a flexible printed board.

摘要： A gas sensor is provided with a multilayer body of solid electrolyte layers, a measurement electrode, a reference electrode, a reference gas introduction layer, a detection unit and a heater. The reference electrode and the measurement electrode are formed directly on the same first solid electrolyte layer. Thus, heat from the heater is transferred from a third substrate layer to the first solid electrolyte layer, and also to the reference electrode and the measurement electrode through the same first solid electrolyte layer. The reference electrode is covered with a reference gas introduction layer, formed of a porous body. The transference of heat from the heater to the reference electrode through the reference gas introduction layer is smaller than the transference of heat from the heater to the reference electrode through the first solid electrolyte layer on which the reference electrode is formed directly.

摘要： A magnetic recording medium for high areal recording density that has excellent thermal fluctuation resistance and recording/reproduction characteristics, and a method of producing the same. The magnetic recording medium includes a glass substrate, an NiP layer having an oxide film on its surface provided on the glass substrate, a ground layer provided on the NiP layer, and a nonmagnetic intermediate layer provided on the ground layer. The magnetic recording medium further includes an exchange layer structure composed of a ferromagnetic layer and a nonmagnetic coupling layer provided on the nonmagnetic intermediate layer, and a magnetic recording layer provided on the exchange layer structure. The oxide film on the NiP layer is formed by introducing a small quantity of oxygen into a vacuum chamber of a sputter device. The formation and oxidation of the NiP layer are conducted at a temperature of not less than 140° C.

摘要： The present invention provides a pellet handling equipment for conveying pellets. The pellet handling equipment is essentially composed of a first roller device, a second roller device, and a pellet supplying device. The first roller device is supported generally horizontal and rotatable about an axis thereof for a rotation in a predetermined direction. The second roller device is disposed parallel and adjacent to the first roller device, supported rotatable about an axis thereof for a rotation in a same direction with the first roller device. The second roller device is provided with a slot formed in a circumferential surface thereof and extending in the axial direction. The slot is capable of receiving each one of the pellets. The pellet supplying device intermittently supplies the pellets to the first and second roller device. Each of the intermittently supplied pellets is supported by the first and second roller device therebetween so that the axis of the pellet is parallel to the axes of the first and second roller device. Then, the pellet is rotated about an axis thereof as the first and second roller device rotate, trapped in the slot of the second roller device, and conveyed to the side opposite to the first roller device.
