Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and a mobile terminal for outputting an automatic response message informing a caller of a user's (i.e. recipient's) current schedule when the user is unable to answer an incoming call. The method includes receiving an incoming call, determining whether an automatic response key is pressed to output an automatic response message with implementation of the schedule management function, detecting any schedule information corresponding to the current time by reference to a schedule management table when the automatic response key is pressed, and sending a schedule informing message including the detected schedule information to a caller's terminal.

Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus and a method for providing a ring back tone in a mobile communication terminal. Character information is received through a wireless data communication or generated through a user input. The character information is transformed into voice using a text-to-speech transformer and then provided as a ring back tone.
Abstract:
Provided are a method, a device, and a system for displaying at least one character for identifying a caller, together with the caller's phone number, on a recipient's mobile phone when an incoming call is received. The system includes a caller's mobile phone for allowing the caller to input a recipient's phone number and at least one character desired to be added after the phone number, generating an outgoing call message including the caller's phone number, recipient's phone number and input word or phrase for an outgoing call, and sending the generated message; a base station for receiving the outgoing call message, and changing the outgoing call message to an incoming call message which will be sent to the recipient's mobile phone; and the recipient's mobile phone for receiving the incoming call message and outputting any word or phrase included in the incoming call message.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a mobile terminal having an expedient telephone number editing and dialing function. When a user presses a SEND key during the display of a telephone number detected from a phonebook, the mobile terminal detects a SEND key input pattern and processes the telephone number according to the SEND key input pattern. Particularly, when the SEND key is pressed in a predetermined telephone number editing pattern, the mobile terminal initiates a mode for editing the telephone number so that the user can easily edit the telephone number, for example, by adding a specific code or digit, without the need for excessive key-pressings to select the telephone number editing mode.
