    Abstract: An electronic apparatus and method for channel congestion control in V2X communication is provided. The electronic apparatus determines an initial MCS level associated the V2X communication channel of the vehicle and estimates a first level of channel congestion in the V2X communication channel at the initial MCS level. Thereafter, the electronic apparatus selects, from a plurality of MCS levels for V2X communication, a first MCS level associated with a first threshold level of a plurality of threshold levels of the channel congestion. The selection of the first MCS level is based on a determination that the first level of the channel congestion is greater than or equal to the first threshold level. The selected first MCS level is greater than the initial MCS level. The electronic apparatus transmits, at the selected first MCS level, message information over the V2X communication channel to a group of electronic devices.

    Abstract: An electronic apparatus and method for channel congestion control in V2X communication is provided.     Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a data flow for sensor sharing are described. According to one embodiment, an apparatus configured to be employed in a host vehicle includes a memory and a processor. The processor includes a receiving module, a metadata module, a packet module, and a transmission module. The receiving module is configured to receive sensor data from at least one vehicle sensor of the host vehicle. The metadata module is configured to generate metadata for sensor data. The packet module is configured to form a metadata packet including the metadata and a sensor data packet including the sensor data. The transmission module is configured to transmit the metadata packet at a first carrier frequency and the sensor data packet at a second carrier frequency that is different than the first carrier frequency.

    Abstract: A system for use in determining parking spot allocation. The system includes a host vehicle parked in a host parking spot. The host vehicle includes a transceiver configured for vehicle-to-vehicle communication, and a control unit configured to determine the host vehicle is ready to depart the host parking spot, receive, via the transceiver, a first signal from at least one client vehicle, wherein the first signal indicates the at least one client vehicle is searching for a parking spot, allocate the host parking spot to a first client vehicle of the at least one client vehicle; and transmit, via the transceiver, a second signal to the first client vehicle, wherein the second signal notifies the first client vehicle that the host parking spot has been allocated to the first client vehicle, and provides location data associated with the host parking spot to the first client vehicle.

    Abstract: Provided herein is a system for use in determining right-of-way. The system includes a host vehicle at or approaching an intersection, and the host vehicle includes a transceiver configured for vehicle-to-vehicle communication and a control unit. The control unit is configured to receive a local map of an area surrounding the intersection; receive, via the transceiver, a first signal from at least one client vehicle, wherein the first signal indicates the at least one client vehicle is at or approaching the intersection; determine, based upon a set of rules, that the host vehicle is an arbitrator, wherein the arbitrator assigns a priority value for right-of-way to each vehicle at or approaching the intersection; and transmit, via the transceiver, a second signal to the at least one client vehicle, wherein the second signal includes the assigned priority values for each vehicle at or approaching the intersection.
