Abstract: A locking structure for a saddle type vehicle to prevent theft and achieve a tamper-proofing effect while securing a storage space in a vehicle body. A front cover is provided with a storage part which is openably closed with a lid. The lid is lockable into a closed state or unlockable from the closed state by means of a lid lock mechanism. A main seat is lockable into an engaged state with seat rails or unlockable from the engaged state by means of a seat lock mechanism. At least one of the lid lock mechanism and the seat lock mechanism is connected to a key cylinder by a first cable and a second cable. The key cylinder overlaps a steering shaft in a side view, and is located within an opening provided in an inner cover, which is a component of the front cover, in a top plan view.

Abstract: A radiator structure includes a radiator body having a core composed of radiating fins and cooling water passing tubes alternately laminated and a bracket disposed at one end of the core. The bracket includes an extension portion disposed at a vehicle widthwise inner end of the core and extending along a vehicle front-rear direction. The extension portion has a fixing portion on a leading end thereof, the fixing portion being fixed to a mounting portion of a body frame. An indentation is provided in a portion of an opposed sidewall where a front end of the core and the opposed sidewall of the bracket overlap each other when the vehicle is viewed from the side and which overlaps the fixing portion at least in the vehicle front-rear direction. The indentation is formed by bending the opposed sidewall in a direction away from the front end.

Abstract: To provide a saddled vehicle whose center stand is set up with ease in a simplified structure. A rear suspension suspending a swingarm from a vehicle body has its total length varied by the drive of an actuator. A controller that controls the actuator is provided. By the controller expanding the rear suspension to a predetermined length according to an operation on an actuation switch, the swingarm swings downward to reach a position where a center stand will not touch a ground surface even if the center stand is unfolded to a fully unfolded position. Unfolding the center stand with the swingarm swung downward and then letting the rear suspension recover its original length lifts the rear wheel off the ground surface to complete setting up the center stand.

Abstract: A storage structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle to enable an item to be easily stored in or retrieved from a storage portion to improve handleability of the storage portion. The storage portion includes an opening provided at a position shifted to one or each side of a front cover in a left-right direction with a recess portion being concave downwardly from the opening to form a storage space. A lid is provided for covering the opening of the recess portion openably and closably. The lid is attached to an upper wall portion defining the recess portion, openably and closably via a hinge.
