Abstract:
To provide a saddled vehicle whose center stand is set up with ease in a simplified structure. A rear suspension suspending a swingarm from a vehicle body has its total length varied by the drive of an actuator. A controller that controls the actuator is provided. By the controller expanding the rear suspension to a predetermined length according to an operation on an actuation switch, the swingarm swings downward to reach a position where a center stand will not touch a ground surface even if the center stand is unfolded to a fully unfolded position. Unfolding the center stand with the swingarm swung downward and then letting the rear suspension recover its original length lifts the rear wheel off the ground surface to complete setting up the center stand.
Abstract:
In a saddle bag lock device for a saddle-ride type vehicle, in which a bag base body forming a saddle bag together with a lid is provided with multiple catch mechanisms switchable between a locked state where the catch mechanisms are engaged with multiple strikers provided on the lid and an unlocked state where the catch mechanisms are disengaged from the strikers. A switching operation member is manually-operable to synchronously switch the catch mechanisms from the locked state to the unlocked state. The saddle bag is formed to have a mountain-shaped bulging portion in an upper portion, the bulging portion bulging upwardly in a side view, and the switching operation member and the multiple catch mechanisms disposed in base portions of the bulging portion are connected to one another by cables corresponding individually to the catch mechanisms.
Abstract:
An ABS modulator support structure of a saddle type vehicle includes a main frame, a down frame, a pair of shroud which cover the right and left side of the frames, a radiator, a reserve tank which stores a coolant for the radiator, and an ABS module. The radiator is arranged on one (left side) side of the down frame 18 in a width direction of the vehicle. The ABS module is arranged on the other (right side) of the sides of the down frame in the width direction of the vehicle. The reserve tank and the shrouds are arranged outside the ABS module.
Abstract:
A fuel tank structure of straddle type vehicle in which a wide space below the fuel tank can be secured and a clearance portion for avoiding the fuel tank interfering with the vehicle body side can be downsized. The fuel tank is supported on and disposed above a main frame with a fuel pump being installed to a bottom plate of the rear portion of the fuel tank. A maintenance space formed below the fuel pump when the rear portion of the fuel tank is lifted in a state wherein an installation portion of a front bracket installed to the front lower portion of the fuel tank is rotatably supported on the main frame. The fuel tank is configured such that the installation portion of the lower end of the front bracket is disposed below the bottom plate, simultaneously, and is installed to the main frame with a bolt.
Abstract:
A rear portion structure for a saddle vehicle includes a wide accommodation space for accommodating parts therein while improving the foot grounding property of a rider. A rear fender of a motorcycle has a bottom wall disposed on the inner side of a rear frame in the vehicle widthwise direction, and left and right side walls extending upwardly from the bottom wall. An accommodation space for accommodating a part therein is formed from the bottom wall and the left and right side walls. Left and right first bending portions which individually extend in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle and at which the left and right side walls can individually be bent with respect to the bottom wall are formed between the bottom wall and the left and right side walls. The left and right side walls are inclined inwardly and upwardly along the inner side of the rear frame.
