Abstract: Fire alarm system device identification methods and systems are described herein. One fire alarm system, includes a gateway connected to a system control panel for allowing mobile device access to the system, a mobile device connected to the control panel, a fire alarm system control application on the mobile device, wherein the fire alarm control system application gains access to the control panel via the gateway, a search utility in the fire alarm control system application for identifying a particular fire alarm system device that is in a specific condition or location, and a database accessible via the fire alarm control system application wherein location and condition information about the plurality of fire alarm system devices is located, such that the search utility can search the database and identify the particular fire alarm system device from the other of the plurality of fire alarm system devices.

Abstract: A system and method for monitoring performance of an industrial process includes an input port for receiving signals representative of one or more performance parameters generated by the industrial process, a user interface including a display and a controller that is operably coupled with the input port and the user interface. The controller is configured to repeatedly receive signals over time via the input port representative of the one or more performance parameters of the industrial process and to generate a plurality of snapshots, wherein each snapshot includes a graphical representation of the one or more performance parameters of the industrial process at a corresponding time. The controller is configured to generate an animatable heat map including two or more of the plurality of snapshots arranged temporally and to display the animatable heat map on the display.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for multi-level authentication for a fire control system are described herein. One system includes a first device configured to receive a request corresponding to an action to be performed regarding an electronic record generated for a fire control system and receive a first authentication form a first user for the action regarding the electronic record generated for the fire control system. The system is further comprised of one or more secondary devices configured to receive a notification of the request and a secondary authentication from at least one of a number of required users for the action regarding the electronic record to be performed. The system also includes a computing device configured to receive the first authentication from the first device and each of the secondary authentications from each of the one or more secondary devices and perform the action regarding the electronic record based on the first authentication received from the first device each of the secondary authentications received from each of the one or more secondary devices.

Abstract: One or more environmental conditions within each of a plurality of server racks are received over time. One or more IT parameters representative of server load are received over time. A model is constructed that models how one or more of the environmental conditions within at least one of the server racks of the plurality of server racks responds to changes in one or more of the IT parameters. A future value of one or more environmental conditions within one or more of the plurality of server racks is predicted based at least in part on the model and the one or more subsequent received IT parameters. At least some of the environmental control equipment of the data center is proactively controlled based at least in part on the predicted future value of one or more of the environmental conditions within the one or more server racks.
