Abstract:
This application provides a method for controlling disorder of downlink data and an apparatus thereof. The method includes: A control plane network element determines to switch from a first user plane device to a second user plane device, and sends indication information to the second user plane device. The second user plane device buffers, according to the received indication information, downlink data received from a session anchor, and sends the buffered downlink data after reception of an end marker from the first user plane device.
Abstract:
This application provides example path switching methods, example communication apparatuses, and example communication systems. One example method includes obtaining, by a session management network element, a context of a first transport layer connection, where the first transport layer connection is between a source transport layer proxy network element and a terminal device. In response to determining that a protocol data unit (PDU) session anchor for the terminal device needs to be changed, the session management network element can send the context of the first transport layer connection to a target transport layer proxy network element, where the context is used to establish a third transport layer connection between the target transport layer proxy network element and the terminal device.
Abstract:
This application provides an MDBV determining method, apparatus, and system. The method includes: A first device determines an updated MDBV based on an updated segment packet delay budget, so that an access network device can use the updated MDBV. Therefore, according to an actual requirement of the access network device, a corresponding MDBV is generated for use. This helps ensure communication efficiency of the access network device.
Abstract:
This application provides a downlink transmission method. A session management network element obtains duration, namely, a first delay, between an expected moment at which a downlink service packet arrives at an access network element and an estimated moment at which the downlink service packet arrives at the access network element, the expected moment is within a first scheduling window, and a next scheduling window adjacent to the first scheduling window is a downlink scheduling window. Then, the session management network element sends the first delay to an application network element, where the first delay is used by an application server to determine a second moment at which the downlink service packet is sent, and a moment at which the downlink service packet sent at the second moment arrives at the access network element is within the first scheduling window.
Abstract:
A communication method and apparatus are provided for transmitting packets of a data stream between user equipment. After receiving a first packet from a first user equipment, a user plane function (UPF) forwards the first packet to a second user equipment at a first moment, so that the first packet that arrives at the UPF before the first moment is not forwarded to the second user equipment until the first moment, to support deterministic sending and ensure that a time sensitive communication (TSC) packet is sent at a determined moment, so as to provide deterministic delay assurance for applications such as industrial control and telemedicine.
Abstract:
A quality of service (QoS) parameter processing method and a system, where the method includes a session management function device obtaining a core network (CN) packet delay budget (PDB) between a first access network device and a first user plane function device, and sending the CN PDB to the first access network device via a context update response message, where the first access network device is a target access network device serving a terminal device after a handover. After receiving the CN PDB, the first access network device determines an access network (AN) PDB between the terminal device and the first access network device based on the CN PDB and an end-to-end PDB between the terminal device and the first user plane function device, and then schedules an air interface resource between the terminal device and the first access network device based on the AN PDB.
Abstract:
A transmission method and apparatus related to the field of communications technologies and include obtaining, by a session management network element, transport network capability list information, where the transport network capability list information indicates whether a transport network supports high-reliability transmission, and the transport network is a network between an access device and a user plane network element, and managing, by the session management network element, a user plane connection, of a terminal, between the access device and the user plane network element based on the transport network capability list information, where the user plane connection is usable for transmitting a service flow packet of the terminal.
Abstract:
A network function virtualization NFV fault management apparatus, device, and method are disclosed. The apparatus includes: a receiver, configured to receive a fault subscription message sent by at least one subscription node in an NFV system and a fault publish message sent by at least one fault publish node in the NFV system, where the fault subscription message includes fault information to which a subscription is requested; a processor, configured to perform matching between the fault information to which a subscription is requested and the fault publish message, and generate a fault notification message; and a transmitter, configured to notify the fault notification message to the at least one subscription node. According to the present invention, real-time and quick location and notification of node fault information can be implemented.
Abstract:
A binding registration method includes: an SDN controller receiving a first bearer message that is forwarded by a first MAG in multiple MAGs and that carries a first L2 attach request message; sending, to each of the first MAG and an LMA, a message for establishing a tunnel between the first MAG and the LMA; sending, to each of the first MAG and the LMA, a message for adjusting a flow entry of an MN; configuring an HNP(s) for the MN, and encapsulating the HNP(s) into an RA message; and sending the RA message to the first MAG.
Abstract:
Embodiments provide a method, which can implement establishment of an network function virtualization (NFV) network service link. The method includes obtaining, by a first communications unit, a service link rule, where the service link rule is used to indicate service processing that needs to be performed. The method also includes obtaining, according to the service link rule, information about a service link through which a service route passes, where the information about the service link is used to indicate information about a virtualized network function (VNF) through which the service route passes, and the VNF is configured for the service processing; and sending a route and resource configuration request message, where the route and resource configuration request message carries the information about the service link, to request to perform, according to the information about the service link, route and resource configuration for the VNF included in the service link.
