    Abstract: This application discloses a precoding processing method and an apparatus. The method includes: A base station determines first downlink channel information based on a pilot signal received from a terminal device. The base station receives a precoding matrix indication PMI from the terminal device, determines second downlink channel information based on the PMI, determines a precoding matrix of a downlink channel based on the first downlink channel information and second downlink channel information, and performs precoding processing by using the precoding matrix. In this method, when calculating a downlink BF weight, the base station combines the downlink channel information obtained based on the pilot signal with the precoding matrix indicated by the PMI, to compensate for a quantization error caused by feedback of a single PMI indication. This method improves accuracy of beamforming weights.

In the embodiments of the present invention, a base station determines user equipments UEs requiring multi-user beam forming MUBF pairing and to-be-allocated ports, sets a quantity of orthogonal cover codes OCCs according to a quantity of the to-be-allocated ports, and determines a pilot allocation result according to the quantity of the to-be-allocated ports, the quantity of the OCCs, and a quantity of the UEs. The solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention are applicable to pilot allocation.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to channel quality measurement methods and equipment. One example method includes obtaining, by a user equipment (UE), a signal sending policy. The UE comprises a baseband chip, at least two transmit antennas, and a controller connected to the at least two transmit antennas. The signal sending policy is a policy pre-agreed on by the UE and a base station. The signal sending policy comprises sending sounding reference signals (SRSs) to the base station in a preset order by using n transmit antennas of the at least two transmit antennas. n is an integer greater than or equal to 1. The UE sequentially selects, in the preset order, the n transmit antennas from the at least two transmit antennas.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a data transmission method and an apparatus. The method mainly includes: forming multiple antennas of a BS (base station) into a cross polarization antenna array, and calculating a weighted matrix of a to-be-transmitted data stream of the BS according to channel information between the BS and an MS (mobile station); performing weighted processing on the to-be-transmitted data stream of the BS according to the weighted matrix, and sending a data stream that has undergone the weighted processing from the BS to the MS. The embodiments of the present disclosure may enhance the demodulation performance because the cross polarization antenna array is adopted at the BS, and certain irrelevancy exists between cross antennas; therefore, the embodiments of the present disclosure may significantly enhance the overall performance of sending the data stream from a BS side to an MS side.
