Abstract: The present disclosure relates to example incoming call processing methods and devices. In one example method, a call request message is received by a terminal device from a core network. MT signaling interaction is performed by the terminal device with the core network based on the call request message. A determination is made, by the terminal device, on whether the MT signaling interaction succeeds within a preset duration. Prompt information is sent responsive to a determination that the MT signaling interaction fails within the preset duration.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to an auxiliary-link-based call compensation system and apparatus, and chip. The system includes: a first terminal, a second terminal, and a core network device. The first terminal and the second terminal establish a primary link in response to a dialing operation entered by a user. The first terminal and the second terminal establish at least one auxiliary link in response to an auxiliary link establishment condition. The first terminal transmits call data packets with the second terminal by using the primary link and the at least one auxiliary link. The first terminal and/or the second terminal performs post-processing and playing on the call data packets received by using the primary link and the at least one auxiliary link.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention are used in a traffic statistics collection process. A traffic statistics collection method includes: when a modem detects a first IP packet, obtaining a first IP address of the first IP packet, and obtaining a packet length of the first IP packet; obtaining, from an in-memory database, an APN corresponding to the first IP address of the first IP packet; and when the APN corresponding to the first IP address of the first IP packet is an APN of a first PDN, adding the packet length of the first IP packet to a first statistics value of VoLTE traffic, where the first PDN is a PDN required by a bearer that establishes a VoLTE service.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a call setup method, and relate to the field of communications technologies. The method is used to resolve a problem that an LTE terminal cannot provide a voice service effectively. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, a first notification message, where the first notification message includes a first IMS incoming call notification message; establishing, by the terminal, a first IMS call connection based on the first notification message, and allocating a resource for the first IMS call connection; receiving, by the terminal, a second notification message, where the second notification message includes any one of the following messages: a circuit switched CS notification message, an indication message sent by a network side device, and a second IMS incoming call notification message; and releasing, by the terminal based on the second notification message, the resource occupied by the first IMS call connection.

When a specific condition is met (for example, a callee fails to be paged), a network device forwards, to a VoIP server, a first call request to a target number, where the first call request is a call request initiated by a calling terminal to the target number, and the target number has been subscribed to a call forwarding service. Then the VoIP server parses a forwarding message from the network device to obtain a called number, searches, based on the called number, for the called terminal associated with the called number, and initiates a VoIP call to the called terminal, so that the callee in an out-of-service state (for example, there is no signal of an operator network or the callee is in an airplane mode) can still receive the call request from the caller.

Abstract: A method for negotiating a maximum packaging interval, an apparatus, and a storage medium related to the field of communications technologies. The method includes obtaining, by a voice over long term evolution (VoLTE) apparatus, Connected Mode Discontinuous Reception (CDRX) period configuration information of a base station, determining a maximum packaging interval of downlink data based on the CDRX period configuration information, and sending the maximum packaging interval to an Internet Protocol (IP) multimedia core network subsystem (IMS) core network. Hence, the method can resolve a problem of high power consumption caused by that the VoLTE apparatus is frequently woken up within a CDRX period.
