Abstract: A communications system switching method and a terminal device are provided. The method includes: establishing, by a terminal device, a connection to a first communications system, and running, by the terminal device, a first application; obtaining, by the terminal device, a QoS value of a second communications system; determining, by the terminal device based on a preset policy and a QoS requirement of the first application, whether the QoS value of the second communications system meets the QoS requirement of the first application; and if the QoS value of the second communications system meets the QoS requirement of the first application, disconnecting, by the terminal device, from the first communications system, and establishing a connection to the second communications system. In this manner, the terminal device can select a proper communications system based on a currently running application. This is relatively flexible and intelligent.

Abstract: A data packet transmission method—that includes: obtaining, by a terminal, N application programs that are running; and if the N application programs include an application program including a low-latency service; determining whether an unlicensed frequency band is in a congestion state; and instructing a network device to schedule a data packet of the terminal to a licensed frequency band for transmission when the unlicensed frequency band is in a congestion state. When determining that the N running application programs include the application program including the low-latency service, the terminal may instruct the network device to schedule the data packet of the terminal to the licensed frequency band for transmission, so as to transmit a data packet of the low-latency service by using the licensed frequency band. Resources in the licensed frequency band are centrally scheduled by the network device, instead of being used through contention.

Abstract: A method for controlling a specific absorption rate (SAR) of a wireless communications device and a wireless communications device, and the wireless communications device includes a first antenna and a second antenna. The method includes transmitting, by the wireless communications device, a radio frequency signal using the first antenna, and stopping using the first antenna and starting transmitting the radio frequency signal using the second antenna when transmit power of the first antenna is greater than first preset power and a first time period elapses to enable the wireless communications device to meet an SAR standard. There is no backoff of antenna transmit power in a process of controlling the SAR of the wireless communications device. Therefore, communication quality of the wireless communications device is ensured while the SAR standard is met.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a network search method and a terminal device. The network search method is applied to a terminal device, and a subscriber identity module SIM card is installed in the terminal device. The method part in the embodiments of this application includes: when the terminal device camps on a visited public land mobile network VPLMN, determining an MCC home area corresponding to the SIM card; determining whether the terminal device has entered the MCC home area or is to enter the MCC home area; and triggering a network search if the terminal device has entered the MCC home area or is to enter the MCC home area. The embodiments of this application also disclose the terminal device, so as to increase a speed of going back, by the terminal device, from the VPLMN network to camp on an HPLMN network.

Abstract: A BLUETOOTH reconnection method is used in a BLUETOOTH connection system that includes a first device and a second device. The method includes that the first device sends a BLUETOOTH Low Energy (BLE) advertising signal to the second device after a BLUETOOTH connection between the first device and the second device is disconnected. If the second device determines that the received BLE advertising signal is a first BLE advertising signal, the second device does not page the first device, and waits to receive a page packet sent by the first device. If the second device determines that the received BLE advertising signal is a second BLE advertising signal, the second device actively pages the first device, and the first device waits to receive a page packet sent by the second device.
