    摘要: Disclosed herein is a sheet-shaped safety kit that is attached to opposite major surfaces of an electrode assembly for secondary batteries. The safety kit includes a group of metal sheets electrically connected to a cathode terminal of the electrode assembly, another group of metal sheets electrically connected to a cathode terminal of the electrode assembly, and an insulation sheet disposed between the two metal sheet groups. The metal sheets of one of the metal sheet groups are interconnected with each other at lower ends of the metal sheets, the lower-end interconnection part interconnecting the lower ends of the metal sheets has a width less than that of the metal sheets, and lower-end corners of the interconnected metal sheets are larger than lower-end corners of the metal sheets that are not interconnected with each other.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a secondary battery constructed in a structure in which an electrode assembly having a cathode/separator/anode structure is mounted in a sheet-type battery case having a receiving part defined therein, the sheet-type battery case is sealed by thermal welding, and sealing parts are formed entirely along the edge of the receiving part by the thermal welding. The sealing parts are perpendicularly bent such that the sealing parts are brought into tight contact with a side wall of the receiving part. Cathode and anode terminals are positioned at two different sealing parts about the receiving part, respectively. When external forces are applied to the secondary battery, the safety of the secondary battery is improved, and the occurrence of a short circuit is effectively prevented.

    摘要: Disclosed is a packing structure for a lithium ion polymer battery, which includes: a battery casing including a lower multilayer polymer and an upper multilayer polymer, wherein the lower multilayer polymer has an inner space of a predetermined size for housing at least one electrode assembly and an electrolyte and is provided with an extension portion extending radially and outwardly from a top edge of each vertical portion of the lower multilayer polymer, a part of the upper multilayer polymer is coupled rotatably to a part of the extension portion of the lower multilayer polymer and remaining parts of the upper multilayer polymer are sealed to remaining parts of the extension portion of the lower multilayer polymer; and a battery protection member, which wraps the outer circumference of the battery casing so that the battery contained in the battery casing can be protected from external impact, and is fixed integrally by a part of the sealed extension portions. The packing structure can protect a battery from external impact while minimizing an increase in size of the whole battery.
