Abstract: Methods and apparatus are described herein for improved efficiency of a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) transmitting transport blocks (TBs). A WTRU may receive configuration information including uplink resources associated with one or more repetition bundles and a target number of retransmissions for a transport block (TB) associated with at least one hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process. Then, the WTRU may transmit a first TB using a first uplink resource in a first repetition bundle based on the configuration information. Further, the WTRU may increment a retransmission counter. On a condition that the retransmission counter is less than the target number of retransmissions, the WTRU may determine a second uplink resource. Further, the WTRU may retransmit the first TB in the determined second uplink resource. Also, the WTRU may further increment the retransmission counter. Moreover, the first, second and third uplink resources may be physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resources.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for uplink control enhancement in wireless communications are disclosed. In an example, a method includes receiving information related to a set of downlink SPS configurations, receiving downlink SPS transmission(s) based on the received information, determining a payload of UCI for transmission over an uplink channel, the payload comprises a set of HARQ feedback bits based on the received information, determining that at least one triggering condition for segmenting the set of HARQ feedback bits is satisfied, determining at least a portion of the set of HARQ feedback bits based on at least a downlink SPS configuration of the set of downlink SPS configurations, wherein the determined portion of the set of HARQ feedback bits corresponds to a respective subset of the received downlink SPS transmission(s), and transmitting at least the determined portion of the set of HARQ feedback bits using the uplink channel.

Abstract: A method performed by a WTRU may comprise receiving a plurality of LBT configurations associated with one or more of a beam, a BWP, a LCH, a set of LBT parameters, a transmission type or an LBT subband. The method may further comprise receiving an indication to transmit using a first LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations. An attempt to acquire a channel may then be made using the first LBT configuration. The indication to transmit may additionally indicate a second LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations. Data may be transmitted on the channel when the attempt to acquire the channel is successful. An attempt to acquire the channel using the second LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations may be made when the attempt to acquire the channel using the first LBT configuration fails.

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) determines PDCCH candidates. For a slot, the WTRU determines a number of valid PDCCH candidates associated with at least one search space based on a number of designated search spaces associated with the WTRU in the slot, a type of the search space, a priority associated with the search space, a number of required CCE channel estimates associated with the search space, a maximum number of PDCCH candidates in a slot, and a number of control resource sets (CORESETs) associated with the slot. The WTRU may then attempt to decode CCEs in the at least one search space to recover a PDCCH associated with the WTRU. The WTRU may drop PDCCH candidates from the search space when the number of PDCCH exceeds a maximum value.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for selective one-shot hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback by priority level. For example, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may determine a priority associated with each transport block (TB). The each TB may correspond to respective HARQ processes associated with downlink transmissions from a base station (BS). The WTRU may receive, from the BS, a request for the one-shot HARQ feedback with an indication of a priority selected for the one-shot HARQ feedback. The WTRU may generate a HARQ codebook for transmission of the one-shot feedback. The HARQ codebook may comprise one or more information bits corresponding to one or more TBs determined based on the indicated priority. The WTRU may determine, based on a number of the one or more information bits, a transmission power and transmit, at the transmission power, the one-shot feedback comprising the generated HARQ codebook.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for receiver feedback in wireless systems. Receiver feedback format, content, type and/or timing may be determined as a function of, for example, at least one of a type of soft-combining processing to apply in a HARQ process, a HARQ operating point for the HARQ process, one or more reference transmissions for controlling a type of HARQ feedback for the HARQ process, and a feedback suppression parameter for one or more transmissions in a sequence associated with the HARQ process or a transport block (TB). Uniform and non-uniform CB-to-CBG mapping may be provided (e.g., by a WTRU) based on, for example, one or more parameters, interference and channel conditions and/or a probability of or actual pre-empting transmissions. A CB to CBG mapping indication may be provided, for example, in support of selecting a CB to CBG mapping from multiple CB to CBG mappings. Intra- and inter-WTRU interference/preemption indications may be provided.

Abstract: Method and apparatuses for communication over an unlicensed band are provided herein. A method may comprise transmitting transport blocks in each slot of a plurality of slots and determining a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) status for each of the transmitted transport blocks. The method may further comprise determining a weighting coefficient for each of the determined HARQ statuses and calculating, based on the determined HARQ statuses and weighting coefficients, a weighted average of the HARQ statuses for the transmitted transport blocks. The method may further comprise adjusting a Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) contention window size based on the calculated weighted average of the HARQ statuses.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for selecting a resource for transmission may be performed by a WTRU. The method may comprise determining a priority of a data packet and determining a CBR of a resource pool. The WTRU may set a backoff counter to an initial backoff value, in accordance with at least one of the priority of the packet or the CBR. A CCA may be performed in a plurality of resource slots to determine whether the resource slots are available. The backoff counter may be decreased by the number of available resources in each slot. When the backoff counter reaches a threshold value, which may be set at 0, the resource for transmission may be randomly selected. The WTRU may then transmit data to another WTRU on the randomly selected resource.
