    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for QoS procedures supporting verticals in wireless systems. Data flows may combine or remap for QoS remapping conditions or state transitions. Data flow remapping may be indicated by triggering a B SR/SR or by multiplexing in the PDU. A non-default set of LCP parameters may be applied for an LCH after a QoS state transition, QoS remapping trigger, or LCP parameter suspension/override. A WTRU may operate according to a QoS adaptation state corresponding to a set of parameter values for a group of data flows, radio bearers, and/or logical channels. A WTRU may transition between QoS adaptation states. An RRC configuration and/or a MAC function may adapt to changing QoS requirement(s). QoS requirement(s) may adapt to changing MAC functions. QoS may be associated with survival time(s). QoS may adapt to higher layer indications. Packet forwarding may adapt to QFI in DL for QoS state changes.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of reporting Channel State Information (CSI) by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) includes receiving configuration information indicating a plurality of CSI reporting configurations and information indicating multiple downlink (DL) semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resource configurations, wherein each indicated DL SPS resource configuration is associated with a CSI reporting configuration; and receiving an indicator indicating which one or more of the multiple DL SPS resource configurations are active. The method further includes determining one or more measurement time/frequency resources based on a respective CSI reporting configuration or respective CSI reporting configurations associated with the one or more active DL SPS resource configurations; performing one or more measurements on the determined measurement time/frequency resources; and reporting CSI, wherein the CSI is based on the one or more measurements.

    Abstract: Power efficient measurements may be implemented for high frequency operations. A WTRU may determine measurement occasions, DRX cycle/configuration transitions, DRX pause/resume, DRX timer operation, and/or BFR based on scheduling activity, beam configuration, BFI detection, BFD, beam loss, etc. A WTRU may be configured with multiple DRX cycles and measurement opportunities (e.g., with different periodicities). The WTRU may perform (e.g., RS) measurement(s) with determined/configured timing (e.g., DRX on-durations) in a first DRX cycle based on condition(s). The WTRU may switch to a second DRX cycle and perform RS measurement(s) with determined/configured timing based on condition(s) (e.g., counted number of BFIs detected in first DRX cycle). The WTRU may switch from the second (e.g., short) DRX cycle to the first (e.g., long) DRX cycle or to non-DRX operation e.g., DRX suspension or reset DRX inactivity timer) based on condition(s) (e.g., number of BFIs in first and/or second DRX cycle(s)).

    Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) determines PDCCH candidates. For a slot, the WTRU determines a number of valid PDCCH candidates associated with at least one search space based on a number of designated search spaces associated with the WTRU in the slot, a type of the search space, a priority associated with the search space, a number of required CCE channel estimates associated with the search space, a maximum number of PDCCH candidates in a slot, and a number of control resource sets (CORESETs) associated with the slot. The WTRU may then attempt to decode CCEs in the at least one search space to recover a PDCCH associated with the WTRU. The WTRU may drop PDCCH candidates from the search space when the number of PDCCH exceeds a maximum value.

    Abstract: A system and methods for beam failure recovery and management for multi-carrier communications with beamforming are disclosed herein. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may monitor for and detect a beam failure of a beam associated with a secondary cell (Scell). The WTRU may select an Scell candidate beam. The WTRU may transmit using a selected uplink (UL) resource in a primary cell (SpCell) a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) including an indication of Scell beam failure and identifying the selected candidate beam. The WTRU may receive an Scell beam failure indication response on the SpCell indicating an SCell index and a downlink (DL) quasi co-location (QCL) reference associated with the Scell. The WTRU may verify that the DL QCL reference matches with the candidate beam. The WTRU may perform random access on the SCell using the selected QCL reference and the selected candidate beam.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for reliable control signaling, for example, in New Radio (NR). A receiver in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive one or more physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmissions comprising downlink control information (DCI). The WTRU may determine a transmission profile associated with an uplink control information (UCI). Based on the transmission profile, the WTRU may determine one or more transmission characteristics associated with the transmission of the UCI. The WTRU may transmit the UCI over a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). The UCI may be transmitted using transmission characteristics determined by the WTRU. The WTRU may transmit the UCI based on at least one of a control resource set (CORESET), a search space, or a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI). The WTRU may determine a transmission profile differently based on what the UCI may comprise.

    Abstract: A receiver bandwidth adaptation for radio access technologies (RATs) may be for a New Radio (NR) or 5G flexible RAT. A WTRU control channel (e.g., receiver) bandwidth may change, for example, based on monitoring a downlink channel for an indication using a bandwidth (BW) associated with a first BW configuration. The indication may include a signal to change the receiver BW. The WTRU may change the receiver BW associated with the first BW configuration to a second BW configuration when the WTRU receives the indication on a downlink (DL) channel. The WTRU may perform one or more measurements associated with the second BW configuration in response to the change of the receiver BW to the second BW configuration. The WTRU may transmit measurement information to a network entity. The WTRU may receive a DL transmission from the network using the second BW configuration.
